Choose the meaning that fits
Presented suits a structured explanation to an audience. Briefed fits a concise update that helps people act or decide. Documented describes information captured for later use, while explained fits making a topic understandable. The channel alone is rarely enough: name what the audience needed to know and why. Sending messages is different from resolving a disagreement or negotiating an agreement.
Finance example
Presented monthly spending variances to department leads and explained the assumptions behind the forecast.
This identifies the content and audience. A claim that the presentation changed spending decisions would need evidence beyond the fact that a meeting took place. This is an illustration, not a claim to copy into your own work history.
Use it in your own sentence
Start with the action you performed, add the project or process, then explain the purpose or result. Include a number only when you can verify it. Read the sentence aloud: a precise, ordinary word is usually stronger than inflated language.
Check three things before keeping the rewrite: could you explain the work in an interview, does the verb match your authority, and does the result belong to you or the wider team? Keep technical terms that accurately describe your experience. Changing a verb should make the sentence easier to understand without changing what happened. Use past tense for completed work and consistent tense for ongoing duties.
