Before paying, check the current plan limits, export options and cancellation terms. A score from either tool is feedback, not a hiring decision or a guarantee of passing an employer’s screening process.

Resume Worded offers a limited free review. Pro unlocks full reports, line-by-line analysis, AI rewrites and Word templates. Its page lists $49 monthly, $99 billed every three months or $229 for one year. We have not verified every export restriction in an account. Resume Worded plans and report access.
Signup includes 5 credits and a 3-day Career Boost trial, with no card required. Unused trial credits expire when the trial ends. Career Boost adds 30 credits on paid activation and each monthly renewal. AI tailoring uses credits; it is not unlimited. Resume exports are PDF. Free-plan exports include a watermark; an active Career Boost subscription or trial removes it. See Resumize’s current pricing.
How we check Resumize’s generation
Our saved July 22, 2026 internal evaluation completed all 37 resume-generation cases. All passed the recorded structure and experience-identity checks; one failed the bullet-count check. These are Resumize-only results, not a comparison with Resume Worded. See all results, the method and limitations.
A repeatable trial you can run
Use the same resume and job description in both tools. For a fictional starting point, use the Alex Morgan example. Record the plan, date, minutes spent and edits needed. Check whether each draft preserves the facts, identifies missing skills without inventing them, and exports readable text with working links. Then try a cover letter and saving the application. Mark unavailable features as unavailable rather than guessing a score.
No comparative timing, usability or output-quality scores are reported here because we have not completed that controlled trial. An ATS score is feedback, not an employer’s decision.
Turn feedback into edits you can explain
Start by deciding whether you need a review of an existing document or help creating a new one. For a review, list the issues that matter to you: unclear responsibilities, weak examples, missing context or poor organization. Compare the specificity of the feedback rather than assuming that a higher numerical score means the resume is ready for every role.
Choose two or three suggestions and apply them manually to a copy of your resume. Check whether you understand the reason for each change and whether the supporting facts are still accurate. If a suggestion asks for a result you did not measure, describe the actual contribution instead of inventing a number. Useful feedback should lead to wording you can defend in an interview.
Treat LinkedIn feedback as a separate task if that is your priority. A public profile and a document for one vacancy can need different emphasis, even when the underlying experience is the same. Use the product sources linked below to confirm the current feature and plan details. This comparison does not substitute for trying the exact workflow you intend to use.
Questions to answer before paying
Check the current limits for the actions you will use most: creating documents, revising them, reviewing existing files and exporting the final result. Confirm which features are included in the free option and which require payment. An available trial does not necessarily represent the ongoing free plan, so read the current offer before relying on a particular workflow.
Inspect export formats, watermark rules and any restrictions on editing or downloading. Keep a copy of your original resume while evaluating tools. If you plan to use a browser extension, confirm that it supports the browser and job sites you use, then review the permissions it requests. Check billing frequency, renewal terms and how cancellation works before committing.
Make a decision from your own trial
Write down the task you completed, the useful output and the changes you still had to make. Compare the final document with your original facts and the employer’s instructions. This gives you a more concrete basis for choosing than a long list of features you may never use. You do not need to buy a tool simply because it offers more options.
If a free editable template and a few guided drafts solve your immediate problem, start there. If you repeatedly need a broader workflow, test that workflow before upgrading. The descriptions on this page are published by Resumize and are not independent performance measurements. Product capabilities and plans can change; the linked official pages are the place to confirm current details.
Questions, answered
Can Resume Worded compare my resume to a job?
Yes. Its Targeted Resume tool compares your document with a job description and identifies missing keywords. It is distinct from its general resume feedback and LinkedIn review tools.
Which product is better for my search?
Use the same resume and job description to compare relevant features, output quality and the time needed to finish your application. The best fit depends on your workflow and current plan limits.
