Make this layout work for you

Use the summary to identify the products or problems you know well. In each role, show the evidence you gathered, the trade-off you helped make and the work that followed. Selected initiatives should add detail rather than repeat your experience section. If a launch outcome was shared, describe the team result and your role in it. Avoid turning a roadmap responsibility into a claim that you personally built every feature.

Product example

“Synthesized onboarding feedback, defined the problem statement and agreed the first release scope with design and engineering.” The sequence makes the product contribution visible. Add adoption figures only when you can explain their source and the period being compared.

Before you send your resume

  1. Check the content. Remove every bracketed prompt and unused section. Read names, dates, contact details and job titles separately from the rest of the text; familiar information can be easy to overlook when proofreading.
  2. Check the document. Open the exported file and look for headings left at the bottom of a page, clipped lines and unexpected spacing. Test your links and confirm that the text can be selected. Keep an editable copy for your next application.
  3. Check the application instructions. Use the file type and naming convention the employer requests. Review any fields filled from your uploaded resume before submitting; a readable template does not guarantee that every application system will interpret every field correctly.
