Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Java Selenium Rest Assured Automation Tester / SDET with strong expertise in web automation and API testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks, developing, and executing automated test cases, identifying and analysing defects, and collaborating closely with development and business teams.
The candidate should have strong programming and automation skills, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, and a passion for adopting emerging testing tools and technologies. Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) and GitHub will be an added advantage.
Technical SkillsOverall, 5-10 years of experience in IT and Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Java Selenium is mustHands on experience in API Rest Assured testingSetting up the Selenium environment: Preparing the environment, selecting a language, and setting up toolsDesigned and implemented scalable Selenium frameworks from scratch, improving test efficiency.Writing test cases in the preferred language, and adding and escalating scripts to improve themExecuting tests: Running test suites to identify bugs and faultsDetect and analyze software flaws and engage with developers to find solutions.Resolving issues: Assigning bugs to the development teamAnalysing user requirements: Providing feedback based on user requirements, specifications, and technical design documentsStaying up to date: Keeping current with testing tools, trends, and methodologiesStay up to date with emerging testing tools, trends, and methodologiesSoft SkillsStrong knowledge in GenAI and GitHub is added advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.
