Purpose Primary responsibility for the Account Manager role is to sell plastic resins, support existing accounts and continuously expand the customer base. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below. Essential Functions a. Achieve profitable revenue growth, including robust new business development. b. Achieve stated gross margin targets as a percentage of sales. c. Approach the sales process with a high degree of professionalism and effectiveness by successful utilization of customer centric selling skills d. Prospecting & new account calls, development of a robust target funnel, e. Establish, track and close new business targets consistent with long-term growth objectives. f. Develop, execute and manage sales plans, sales budgets, and expense budgets. g. Work both directly and cooperatively with channel partners to close business based on customer's purchasing requirements. h. Create and maintain CRM data and sales statistics as required. i. Work with Technical and Customer Service team to ensure customer requirements and satisfaction is met. j. Proven ability to interact effectively at all levels of the customer and with all of the customers functional groups. Education: a. Bachelor’s degree required b. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree. 2. Experience: a. Minimum of 3 years of exposure in B2B, face to face sales, preferably in industrial or commodity sales 3. Licenses / Certifications: a. Valid driver’s license – required 4. Language: a. Proficiency in English required b. Bi-Lingual – Spanish or Portuguese is a plus Work Environment / Conditions The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience, and therefore Must be adaptable to work in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office. Ability to setup desk equipment including setting up equipment on top of desks and connecting cables and power cords under desk (requiring lifting, bending, pushing, pulling).
