What do we need  We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage large Scientific SaaS delivery & implementations projects, to ensure that our clients are reaching their desired outcomes and adopting our solutions. The structure of projects are like other enterprise deployments but centre around enabling Customers to use configured software within their business area of expertise. You will be in a unique position to leverage your advanced  in-depth SaaS Implementation/delivery skills, processes management, and interpersonal skills across many clients, ranging from the top pharmaceutical companies in the world to the leading food providers, and start-ups focused on ultra-rare diseases. You will be an advocate of Dotmatics, engaging stakeholders ranging from bench scientists up to Senior Manager levels to effectively communicate Actions, Owners, Timelines, to balance risks and have the right conversations to protect, propose, and allow science to prosper. In this role you will get to Develop, plan and manage the implementation of challenging Customer projects across disparate organizations in line with the Dotmatics project lifecycle using agile methodologies and hybrid-agile approaches. Lead full cycle project delivery for complex enterprise level SaaS software Manage large technical & digital transformation programmes Develop project objectives, by identifying requirements and barriers to projects, including cost, time, scope, and resources. Lead resolutions of any customer or team problem related to their discipline/project. Proactively identify problems that challenge our scale or business or customer direction. Effectively communicate and support changes to adapt to challenges by taking accountability for the project’s success. This may require working across a number of different aspects, e.g. equipment, business processes, vendor management, technical implementation, deployment and training. Ensure the project is compliant with relevant standards, regulatory requirements and contractual agreements while suggesting and coordinating  system improvements Provide overall leadership to team leads and project staff both intra- and inter-company. Advocate for Dotmatics’ interests by working closely with Services Consultants, Developers, Product Management, Leadership, Legal, Sales and other Customer Operations functions ensuring overall success of the project(s) Prepare and present internal and external executive briefings, including recommendations for executive action Manage of project expenditures, both capital and expense and partnering with finance to ensure timely and accurate service invoicing for projects Lead the creation of proposals and estimates for Service Delivery projects from project extensions with existing customers to working on new proposals with Sales and Pre-Sales We are looking for people who hold 10+ years experience in SaaS Enterprise implementation/delivery projects, hold a Project Management Certification such as PMP, and be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent. You will demonstrate experience in successfully setting up agile project deliveries and be able to demonstrate experience of managing SaaS configuration projects throughout their life cycle. The Key Skills Scrum Events: Organising and facilitating scrum events in the capacity of Scrum Master Leading projects: Managing the delivery of SaaS enterprise configuration projects that may have significant risks Leading Projects: Ability to manage projects for T1/Enterprise customers or multiple concurrent projects for T2 customers Managing stakeholders: Engaging with senior stakeholders and customers to understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met Building teams: Motivating, managing, and developing teams of globally dispersed people, consultants, and organizations globally disbursed teams, in a virtual setting Change Management: : Advising, coaching and supporting customers through organisational change initiatives to aid software adoption and uptake Ensuring quality: Ensuring that projects meet quality, schedule, and financial goals, and align with Company ORKs (Organisational Key Results) Managing risk: Identifying and managing obstacles and risks, and developing contingency plans. Resolution Management: Leading issues to resolution that have broad business impacts, providing executive teams with strategic recommendations and solutions. Improving delivery: Continuously improving the delivery process and team performance. Develop project objectives, by identifying requirements and barriers to projects, including cost, time, scope, and resources. Managing costs: Managing multi-million dollar program expenditures, both capital and expense and partnering with finance to ensure timely and accurate service invoicing for projects, while ensuring alignment with company OKR’s (Organisational Key Results) & financial targets Managing contracts:  Leading the creation of proposals and estimates for Service Delivery projects from project extensions with existing customers to working on new proposals with Sales and Pre-Sales A background in either chemistry, biology or life sciences Research shows us the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting outstanding candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply — we’d love to hear from you.
