Job Summary
We are looking for a mid-level QA Automation Engineer with 5–6 years of experience in both functional and automation testing. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day QA activities, Jira tracking, automation testing, API testing, mobile testing, and regression testing.
Candidates must be local to California and available to work onsite in Fremont, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Perform both functional and automated testing for web and mobile applications. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Python. Write backend integration tests and automated tests for RESTful APIs. Track automation testing progress and provide weekly QA status reports. Design and execute integration, regression, functional, and stress testing. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to understand requirements and convert them into detailed test cases. Perform Web/UI testing across different browsers and platforms. Participate in day-to-day QA activities and Jira management. Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Identify, document, track, and verify defects through JIRA. Support continuous improvement of QA automation frameworks and testing processes. Perform mobile application testing and mobile automation testing.
Required Skills
5–6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / QA Automation. Strong experience with both manual/functional testing and automation testing. Hands-on experience with Selenium and Python. Experience with REST API testing and backend integration testing. Experience with one or more programming languages:Python Java JavaScript Ruby C# Working knowledge of:Playwright Selenium Appium JIRA STLC Test Management tools such as ALM or Zephyr Experience with Mobile Testing and Mobile Automation. Good understanding of Web/UI testing. Strong knowledge of test methodologies, QA processes, and defect life cycle. Experience with MSSQL and/or MySQL databases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills.
