Who we are At Namaa, we build and operate tech-enabled urban infrastructure that gives consumers fast, reliable access to meals, groceries, and everyday essentials. Our ecosystem is driven by a portfolio of specialized business units, including KitchenPark, CloudRetail, and Profood Properties, each playing a key role in enabling brands to grow and thrive in an increasingly on-demand world. What you’ll do Own the technical accounting agenda, including drafting and maintaining global accounting policies, memos, and guidance notes. Provide technical IFRS advice on transactions (M&A, restructurings, new contracts, debt/equity issuances, joint ventures, etc.). Partner with auditors, legal, tax, FP&A, and senior leadership to resolve complex accounting matters. Lead and manage projects related to new IFRS implementations, system changes, or reporting enhancements. Keep business stakeholders informed of emerging accounting standards, local GCC regulations, and industry best practices. Represent the company in discussions with external auditors and, where relevant, contribute to comment letters or industry forums. What we’re looking for 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in technical accounting or financial reporting. Strong exposure to IFRS standards (IFRS 9, 15, 16, 3, 10). Experience drafting technical accounting memos, policies, and position papers. A background in Big 4 accounting/advisory (Audit, Accounting Advisory Services, or Transaction Accounting) is strongly preferred. A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA (or equivalent). Ability to work independently, perform in-depth technical research, and communicate complex issues to non-finance stakeholders. Experience managing regional or multi-jurisdictional entities in the GCC is a strong plus Why join us Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast!
