The Role (What You’ll Actually Do) As a Senior Account Strategist, you will lead account teams made up of channel specialists (PPC, SEO, creative, copy, web dev etc.) and project managers to deliver results and ROI for our clients. You will be expected to: Collaborate on strategy with the Account Director and own execution Lead day-to-day client delivery and communication Ensure work is executed at a high standard across channels Coordinate internal project managers and channel specialists to ensure nothing slips Monitor performance and proactively surface insights, risks, and opportunities Be accountable for client results, retention, and delivery quality Key Objectives Success in this role is based on the following factors, in order of importance: Client retention: Retain clients by consistently delivering value, earning trust, and maintaining momentum. Client results: Drive measurable results through high-quality execution and ongoing optimization. Productivity: Deliver work efficiently by managing scope, team utilization and your own time. Who This Role Is For This role is ideal for a mid-career agency marketer who: Has deep hands-on marketing experience across multiple channels Enjoys managing ongoing client relationships Is highly organized and delivery-oriented Is comfortable leading client meetings and explaining results Can coordinate complex workstreams without micromanagement Wants to grow into a Account Director or VP-level role over time You enjoy being “at the tip of the spear” on accounts – close to the work, close to the client, and accountable for outcomes. Job Requirements Location & Work Setup Fully remote Must be located in the US or Canada Must be willing to work EST hours full-time Experience 6+ years of professional marketing experience Proven experience managing ongoing client relationships at a marketing agency Experience overseeing multi-channel marketing programs Project management experience (formal or informal) Marketing Stack Experience You must have: Expert-level experience in at least one of the following Hands-on intermediate or higher experience in at least three Familiarity with all, with no more than 1–2, with zero experience Marketing areas: Email & Marketing Automation Content Marketing SEO Paid Search Paid Social (LinkedIn and/or Meta) HubSpot and/or RevOps You will be expected to: Discuss these channels confidently with clients Interface intelligently with channel specialists Assign work and evaluate quality Explain performance and tradeoffs Soft Skills & Attributes Highly organized and detail-oriented Proactive and responsive Strong written and verbal communicator Problem-solver with a “figure it out” mentality Comfortable managing ambiguity Resilient and determined Motivated to challenge themselves and continuously learn Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401K PTO Annual Retreat (this year we’re going to Cancun!)
