Job Title: Full-Stack Python Engineer (AI & Analytics Focus)
Location: McLean, VA | Onsite
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6-12 months

Role and responsibility:
Design, develop and support systems within the financial modeling, analytics, and research area.Design and develop new code and review existing code changes to ensure standard technology development practices are met.Assist in the operational execution of software solutions to assist with the monitoring and control of market and credit risks.Assist with application development and modifying and/or maintaining applications; Demonstrate knowledge of development tools and languages.Assist other areas of financial research and engineering when defining requirements for systems applications. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field and 2 years of experience developing analytics software applications, OR Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field and five years of experience developing analytics software applications,
Demonstrated knowledge of:
Quantitative financePython,Python web technologies, e.g. Flask, DashPython data processing technologies, e.g. Pandas, NumPySolid understanding on web applications, e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScriptSolid understanding on DB and SQLLinux/Unix OS
Preferred experience:
AI Agentic programingJavaScript framework: jquery, data table, reactfront-end design, CSS, tailwindcloud technology, Google Kubeflow, AWSMortgage or GSE experienceR, Java, C, C++, SAS
Must Have Qualifications:
Must have practical experience with Python, front end technologies, React, JavaScript, and web application development, along with the capability to write effective code. Ideal candidates should have 3-7 years of relevant experience. Experience or background in fixed income, account or capital markets is a plus. AI experience, including using LLMs to build agentic applications, is a plus
