Blueland is reimagining everyday cleaning essentials with safe, products that are free from single-use plastic and eliminate the need to choose between what’s safe for your family, good for the planet, and proven to work. With 45 patents granted & 39 patents pending worldwide, Blueland’s innovative products have diverted over 1 billion single-use plastic bottles from landfills and oceans and 7.5 million pounds of CO2 from the atmosphere since 2019. While traditional cleaners are packaged in plastic and may contain up to 95% water, all Blueland products utilize tablet or powder formats, designed to be used directly or mixed with household tap water, and come in compostable or recyclable packaging. From the kitchen sink to the laundry room, we create products families can trust and afford to use over and over (and over) again. Available on Blueland.com and nationwide at Target, Costco, Whole Foods and select local retailers. In a world where half of the planet’s carbon emissions come from just 36 companies, we believe that business should be a force for good and that mission and profit are not mutually exclusive—in fact, we’re proof of it. We’re committed to holding ourselves to the highest parental and environmental standards—which includes ongoing and unbiased certifications from trusted third-party organizations like Cradle to Cradle, EPA Safer Choice, USDA BioPreferred, Leaping Bunny, and EWG Verified. We’re also a Certified Climate Neutral business and certified B Corp “Best for the World.” Blueland was featured on the Season 11 premiere of Shark Tank and successfully secured an investment. We’re also well-funded by top tier venture capital firms as well as notable investors including Gwyneth Paltrow, Justin Timberlake and founders of Sweetgreen, Thrive Market, Honest Company, Rent the Runway, and Bonobos. Our products have been featured across top tier outlets including the New York Times, Fast Company, TechCrunch, VOGUE, Wall Street Journal, Inc., and more. About the Role Blueland is looking for a Director, Enterprise Systems to serve as the company's first dedicated Enterprise Systems and IT leader and build the technology foundation needed to support our next stage of growth. Reporting to the CFO, this role will own Blueland's enterprise systems and day-to-day IT operations. You will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Data & Analytics, and other functions to improve business processes, manage our systems roadmap, and ensure employees have reliable, secure and effective technology. This is a hands-on builder role. As our first dedicated Enterprise Systems hire, you will both set the direction and do the work. On any given day, that could mean prioritizing the enterprise systems roadmap, redesigning a NetSuite process with Finance or Operations, managing an implementation partner, provisioning access for a new hire, resolving an employee technology issue, or evaluating a new application. This role requires someone equally comfortable setting the systems roadmap and rolling up their sleeves to execute it. You will be the first dedicated Enterprise Systems leader at Blueland, supported by external partners and business stakeholders. You should enjoy creating structure where it doesn't yet exist, solving day-to-day problems yourself, and building processes that make those problems easier to solve the next time. We are looking for someone excited to build the foundation and develop the function without a large team to execute. We expect the role to evolve as Blueland grows. Initially, you will personally handle many day-to-day systems and IT activities while leveraging managed service providers and other external partners for specialized support. Over time, you will help determine the right internal and external resources required to scale the function. Responsibilities NetSuite & Business Process Management Serve as the business systems owner for NetSuite and the primary point of contact for our NetSuite managed service provider. Partner closely with Finance and Operations to understand business processes, identify pain points and translate requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions. Own and execute the NetSuite enhancement roadmap, including configuration, workflows, reporting, integrations and process improvements. Personally handle routine NetSuite administration and troubleshooting while determining when more complex technical work should be escalated to our external NetSuite partner. Manage and prioritize work performed by our NetSuite MSP, including requirements, scope, timeline, cost, testing and quality of delivery. Own NetSuite integrations with key platforms and partners, including ecommerce, EDI, 3PL/fulfillment and other enterprise applications. Maintain appropriate governance over roles, permissions, configurations, workflows and system changes. Partner with the Data & Analytics team to implement master data governance standards within NetSuite and other enterprise systems. Lead testing, documentation, training and change management for significant enhancements. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, strengthen controls and improve data quality across Finance and Operations. Enterprise Systems Roadmap & Project Pipeline Own Blueland's enterprise systems project pipeline from business need through implementation and ongoing optimization. Establish and run a consistent intake and prioritization process for systems requests across the organization. Work directly with functional leaders to define the problem to solve, business requirements, expected value, resource needs and recommended solution. Maintain the enterprise systems roadmap and provide visibility into priorities, status, dependencies, risks, costs and resource constraints. Lead systems implementations directly, coordinating business owners, external vendors and other resources as needed. Ensure projects have clear requirements, ownership, testing, training, documentation and post-launch support. Drive adoption after implementation and measure whether solutions are delivering the intended business outcome. Continually evaluate opportunities to simplify the technology stack, improve existing platforms and automate manual work. Day-to-Day IT Operations Serve as the primary internal owner and hands-on point of contact for employee IT needs. Personally manage and resolve routine IT requests and tickets, escalating specialized technical issues to our MSP or other external partners as appropriate. Build a scalable IT ticketing and support process, including clear service expectations, documentation, escalation paths and recurring issue analysis. Own employee technology onboarding and offboarding in partnership with People, including laptops, accounts, software access and permissions. Provision and remove user access across core enterprise applications. Maintain accurate documentation of users, systems, devices, licenses and access. Coordinate laptop and device procurement, setup, replacement and lifecycle management. Troubleshoot common employee technology and application issues and ensure more complex issues are resolved quickly by the appropriate external partner. Develop repeatable processes and self-service documentation that reduce recurring support needs as Blueland grows. IT Vendors & Technology Management Own relationships with Blueland's IT MSP, NetSuite MSP and other enterprise technology vendors. Serve as the internal point of accountability for vendor performance, ensuring external partners are responsive, cost-effective and delivering against Blueland's priorities. Manage technology vendors throughout their lifecycle, including evaluation, onboarding, contracting, implementation, ongoing performance, renewal and offboarding. Maintain a centralized inventory of technology vendors, systems, business owners, licenses, contracts, costs and renewal dates. Partner with Finance to manage technology spend and identify opportunities to consolidate tools, eliminate unused licenses and improve ROI. Coordinate with external cybersecurity and infrastructure partners to ensure required security and technology standards are implemented. Ensure technology vendors are appropriately integrated into Blueland's onboarding, offboarding, access management and security processes. Enterprise Applications & Governance Serve as the internal owner or governance lead for Blueland's core enterprise applications. Administer core applications directly where appropriate and establish clear business and technical ownership for function-specific platforms. Manage user access, permissions, licensing and basic configuration across enterprise applications. Establish documentation and change-management standards for critical systems. Evaluate new systems and functionality based on business need, integration requirements, security, scalability and total cost of ownership. Identify and implement opportunities to leverage automation and AI within enterprise platforms and business processes to increase productivity, improve user experience and reduce manual work. Qualifications 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise systems, business applications, ERP, IT/business technology or related roles. Strong hands-on NetSuite experience, ideally supporting both Finance and Operations in a growing organization. Strong understanding of business processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, fulfillment and financial close. Experience administering enterprise applications and troubleshooting day-to-day systems issues. Experience managing NetSuite consultants, MSPs, technology vendors and other external technical resources. Experience leading systems implementations and integrations from requirements through go-live and ongoing optimization. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage a portfolio of competing systems priorities. Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to improve business processes, systems administration or employee productivity, with an interest in staying current as these capabilities evolve. Working knowledge of IT fundamentals including user provisioning, identity and access management, endpoint/device management, SaaS administration and IT support processes. Strong business judgment and an ability to distinguish between problems that require technology investment and those better solved through process changes. Ability to translate between business and technical audiences. Experience in consumer products, retail, e-commerce or another omnichannel environment is strongly preferred. Familiarity with e-commerce, EDI, 3PL/fulfillment and related integrations strongly preferred. Salary The salary range for this position is $175,000-195,000 per year. We prioritize our planet and our people. In addition to salary compensation, we offer various other benefits to ensure our team members can be their best self, both in and outside of work. Benefits for full time roles include: health benefits, stock options, generous paid time off, paid holidays, paid civic engagement days, paid parental leave, 401k (employee contribution), professional development stipends, remote work reimbursements, various discounts to like-minded companies and more. At Blueland we believe in order to build a better future and planet, we must advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion. We are proud to have assembled a diverse team and strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification. View our California Personnel and Applicant Privacy Notice.

Distingui i requisiti indispensabili dalle preferenze.

Collega i requisiti a progetti, attività e risultati che puoi spiegare. Evidenzia l’esperienza pertinente senza inventare competenze o successi. Nella lettera, spiega il tuo interesse con un esempio concreto. Rispetta la lingua e il formato richiesti e rileggi entrambi i documenti prima dell’invio.
