The Impact You Will Make Risepoint is changing how it markets online programs for more than 100 university partners, using AI and modern technology to change both what our systems can do and how our teams work. We are hiring a Senior Director, MarTech Product Management to own two business outcomes: maximize student and partner outcomes across the student journey, and a faster, lower-cost marketing operation that can scale across a complex multi-brand, multi-tenant ecosystem. This is a product role in the startup sense. You will own the problem, not a queue of requests. You will decide what gets built and why across our website/DXP, SEO/AEO, content and creative operations, customer data platform, tagging and measurement, marketing automation and CRM integrations, and you will be accountable for the results. You will lead a team of product managers and work closely with Marketing, Data and Engineering leaders, and you will be expected to bring the point of view, not wait for one. This role will also be responsible for inculcating a product mindset within the team to ensure the full team is aligned in this same mindset and product thinking. The right person is a leader who takes initiative and maintains accountability for outcomes with deep and broad digital marketing expertise across paid media, SEO, AEO, web and lifecycle marketing. They are tenacious, comfortable with ambiguity, and impatient with the status quo. They solve hard problems from first principles, push the organization on what is possible, and can take an idea from whiteboard to measurable result. How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life What You Will Do Outcome 1: Maximize Student and Partner Outcomes Across the Student Journey Own the funnel from first touch to enrolled student, with clear targets for inquiry, application and enrollment conversion across partner programs. Configure and build system capabilities across the DXP/CMS, CDP, tagging and measurement, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce that lift conversion, including personalization, page and form experience, lead capture and routing, audience segmentation and lifecycle journeys. Use funnel data, test results and student insight to find the biggest conversion gaps, and decide what to fix first based on expected business impact. Work with the CRO team to build a steady testing practice with the CRO, SEO/AEO, Digital Media and Lifecycle Marketing teams. Test often, scale what works and stop what does not. Make sure our programs show up well in AI-driven search and answer engines as well as traditional search, and that the platform supports both. Outcome 2: Use AI and Technology to Rework How Marketing Gets Done Break down core marketing workflows, including content and creative production, campaign build and launch, website updates, SEO/AEO operations and reporting, and redesign them around AI and automation rather than layering new tools onto old processes. Set measurable goals for speed to market, cost and capacity, and report progress against them. Design the platform and operating model to scale across a multi-brand, multi-tenant ecosystem: shared components, templates, governance and data standards that let us launch and change faster without growing cost and headcount at the same rate. Lead the DXP/CMS migration across 80+ university partner websites as a chance to change how work gets done, not a like-for-like move. Coordinate systems integrators and internal engineering from discovery through implementation. Own the evaluation, selection and adoption of new MarTech and AI tools, including CDP, SFMC, identity resolution and data enrichment, with a clear ROI case for each. Product Leadership & Influence Set the product vision, strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for the MarTech portfolio, tied directly to the conversion and efficiency outcomes above. Bring a point of view. Challenge requests that will not move the numbers, propose better options, and push stakeholders toward what is possible rather than what is familiar. Lead and coach a team of product managers who are measured on outcomes, not output. Set a high bar for discovery, speed and quality. Run lean ways of working: fast discovery, small bets, short cycles and clear decisions. Remove process that slows the team down. Build trust with Marketing, Data and Engineering leaders and influence decisions with data, clear reasoning and strong executive communication. Keep up with developments in digital marketing, AI and MarTech, and bring outside ideas into the roadmap. What Success Looks Like Enrollment rates across the funnel improve in a sustained, measurable way, and the gains can be traced to capabilities the team shipped. Core marketing workflows run faster and at lower cost because they were rebuilt around AI and automation, not because people are working harder. New partner brands and programs can be launched and run quickly on the platform without a matching increase in cost or headcount. Marketing and Engineering leaders see the MarTech product team as the group that brings ideas and delivers results, not the group that takes tickets. undefined Partner outcomes: Improvement in stage-to-stage conversion rates and cost per enrollment across partner programs, measured against agreed baselines. Speed to market: Reduction in time to launch pages, content, campaigns and new partner programs. Cost and scale: Lower cost per unit of marketing output and more volume handled without proportional growth in headcount. Delivery: Flagship initiatives, including the DXP/CMS migration, CDP implementation, content operations redesign and marketing automation/CRM integrations, meet milestone, budget and quality targets. Team and influence: A product team that ships consistently against an outcome-based roadmap, reflected in stakeholder feedback. What You’ll Bring to the Team Experience That Matters Most 8+ years of product management experience, including time in a startup, high-growth or similarly fast-moving environment where product owned business results. (Must have) Broad, hands-on expertise across digital marketing, including paid media, SEO, AEO, website and conversion optimization, lifecycle and CRM marketing, and marketing measurement. (Must have) A track record of improving conversion and funnel performance through product and platform work, with results you can quantify. (Must have) Deep working knowledge of MarTech platforms: CMS/DXP, DAM, CDP, tagging and measurement, marketing automation and CRM. (Must have) Experience leading and developing a team of product managers/owners. (Must have) Strong problem-solving skills. You can break down messy, ambiguous problems, form a clear point of view and act on incomplete information. (Must have) A Type A, high-ownership approach. You are tenacious, push boundaries, and are not comfortable with the status quo. (Must have) Experience That’s Great to Have Hands-on experience applying AI and automation to marketing workflows such as content production, personalization, campaign operations or reporting. Experience building platforms for multi-brand or multi-tenant environments. Experience with maximizing outcomes in AEO/GEO to optimize for how students are searching in AI tools Experience leading complex multi-vendor or SI-led implementations and platform migrations. Background in higher education, enrollment marketing or other lead generation businesses. Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to make a case and change minds. Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and defining PM/PO/TPM role structures. Risepoint is an equal-opportunity employer and supports a diverse and inclusive workforce.
