The Platform Architect is responsible for designing and evolving scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms that support infrastructure, network intelligence, and application delivery. This role combines cloud platform architecture with expertise in traffic analytics, DDoS mitigation, and large-scale network observability. This role partners with engineering, operations, and security teams to deliver highly scalable, data-driven platform solutions across cloud and on-prem environments, particularly within service provider and telecom ecosystems. Responsibilities Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available platform solutionsBuild and maintain telemetry ingestion pipelines (NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX)Support and enhance DDoS detection and mitigation platformsAnalyze network traffic patterns and provide insights for optimization and securityDefine and implement Infrastructure as Code and automation strategiesEnable observability, monitoring, and performance optimization across platformsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on platform and network initiativesIntegrate and support traffic intelligence platforms such as Nokia DeepfieldProvide technical leadership and contribute to architectural standardsDevelop and maintain documentation and best practicesNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Qualifications Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, DNS, SNMP)Professional experience in a service provider networkExperience with NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX and traffic telemetry systemsFamiliarity with DDoS detection and mitigation strategiesDemonstrated platform ownership and operations of DDoS platforms such as Nokia Deepfield, Netscout Arbor, or other similar platformsExperience with Linux/Unix systemsProgramming/scripting skills (Python, Go, or similar)Experience with RESTful APIs and automationCloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Kubernetes and containerizationInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)Understanding of distributed systems and microservicesExperience with big data platforms (Kafka, Hadoop, Spark) Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of five (5) years of experience in platform engineering, network engineering, or architecture roles Estimated base salary range: $77,100 - $118,600 USD/annually Work Authorization Requirement:This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship.
