Title: Lead Test Engineer Location: 100% Remote Pay Rate: Open to Both W2 and established 1099's Position Type: Contract, long term expected Candidates MUST LIVE in the United States and be able to pass both a credit and criminal background check. This is a Senior/Lead Test Engineer role requiring a minimum of 10+ years of technology testing experience. The position focuses on leading complex integration, regression, and functional testing; creating technically complex test plans and reputed company; executing and troubleshooting manual and automated testing; performing advanced defect/root-cause analysis; and ensuring testing complies with established client standards. Candidates must be ISTQB Foundation level certification (CTFL) certified and DevOps Foundation Certification. Candidates must have hands on UFT automation experience, 10+ years of testing, complex test-plan development, advanced defect/RCA skills, SAFe/SDLC experience, and the ability to lead/mentor other testers while independently handling complex testing assignments. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently while leading/mentoring test teams, collaborate with developers and business stakeholders, participate in SAFe Agile/SDLC activities, analyze risks and downstream impacts, and recommend improvements to testing processes. Strong experience with UFT automation, XPath troubleshooting, databases, test management, and defect lifecycle processes is particularly important. Description Performs and leads large test teams in documenting and executing integration, regression, and functional testing of complex and moderately integrated systems to ensure compliance with system requirements or use reputed company by following Navy Federal test practices and policies and utilizing approved testing tools. Writes technically complex level test plans. Conducts the analysis of functional and technical requirements and the creation and editing of test reputed company for new or modified systems. Detects and documents defects/bugs identified during testing and recommends prioritization for solutioning of defects. Provides coaching to peers on simple test practices. Runs and trouble shoots test automation scripts for systems under test. Works independently with discretion. Responsibilities • Create complex Test Plan documents utilizing client’s Test Standards and templates • Perform complex analysis and interpret results, present recommendations, potential alternatives, risks, and downstream impacts • Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication including progress reports, test case or plan documentation, root-cause defect reporting, risks, blockers, etc., to facilitate accurate understanding of testing activities • Coordinate and perform testing of complex systems during the System Integration Testing phase • Participate in complex System Development Life reputed company activities utilizing SAFe Agile best practices and methodologies • Participate in sizing and estimation for complex projects and changes • Serve as subject matter expert and mentor to peers • Create and/or update complex manual test case within the approved and appropriate test tool(s) • Build complex manual test case with automation in mind by following test management guidelines • Execute complex automated test reputed company and automation scripts • Update complex automation test reputed company while trouble shooting errors • Update automation parameterization reputed company using NFCU's UFT framework; update as needed when trouble shooting errors. Utilize xpath tools to troubleshoot web element issues • Write end to end moderately complex automated test case independently, ensuring adherence to established policies and best practices • Create all required documentation (test results, knowledge articles, sign-off, etc.) following client’s Testing Standards, tools and templates • Document defects/bugs and follow established defect/bug lifecycle procedures and policies • Perform advanced level root cause analysis for identified defects/bugs, provide detailed documentation and reputed company to developers for solutioning • Collaborate with peers, Developers, business partners and all other stakeholders to ensure business needs are communicated, documented, and satisfied • Perform analysis related to changes in policies, procedures, and products; determine downstream impacts on testing • Analyze and identify moderately complex process, data or technology improvement opportunities, provide recommendations to include risk considerations and downstream impacts • Provide recommendations related to testing practices to facilitate process optimization • Participate in project and product team meetings, collaborating and contributing while maintaining line of sight on goals and objectives Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience • 10+ years of experience in technology testing • Complete knowledge and understanding of business area/specialization Advanced technical skills working with various software programs • Advanced knowledge of testing tools, dependent on the project/product • Advanced knowledge of various database types • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Advanced written and verbal communication skills • Advanced knowledge of testing processes, including creating a test plan and opening bugs • Ability to reputed company fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines • Significant experience working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Significant experience following Systems Development Life reputed company • Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills • Advanced skill communicating with all levels within an organization • Advanced skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines • Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely • Advanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions • Advanced knowledge of client’s services, products, and functions • Experience working in an IT environment • Advanced knowledge of client’s business processes and applications • ISTQB Foundation level certification (CTFL) • DevOps Institute DevOps Foundation (DOFD) reputed company, and its subsidiaries including reputed companyé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and reputed company across North America.
