Panorama Education is one of the fastest growing startups working at the intersection of education, technology, and AI. Across the United States, 15 million students - 1 in 4 in the country - go to a school that's using Panorama to improve outcomes for students. Panorama's flagship technology platform helps school systems improve teaching and learning, student support, special education, and college and career readiness. More than 2,000 school districts and 10 state agencies use Panorama and our investors include Y Combinator, Owl Ventures, Emerson Collective, Uncork Capital, and General Atlantic. As Chief of Staff, you will play a central role in building Panorama. In partnership with the CEO and the Executive Team, you will help translate our ambitious vision and goals into clear strategy, strong execution, and rigorous operations across the business. You'll take on hard, ambiguous problems that matter for our future and figure out how to solve them; you'll lead important growth initiatives that change the trajectory of Panorama. You'll provide critical support and staffing to Panorama's CEO, enabling him to focus his time and energy where it will have the greatest impact for the business. On any given day you will work through competing priorities, decide what is urgent and what is not, manage unforeseen challenges, navigate complex relationships, operate as the CEO's proxy in key decisions, and do it all at a fast pace. You'll be the connective tissue that keeps Panorama's engine running at full speed. You'll be a strong collaborator and partner across Panorama. This role requires an operator mindset, curiosity, a hunger for learning, complex problem solving, influence, emotional intelligence, and exceptional judgment and communication skills. The role is highly demanding, but for the right person, a tremendous opportunity to push yourself as a leader and to build a generational company that matters for students. What You Will Do Your work spans executive operations and planning, strategic communications, cross-functional program management, board and investor relations support, and special projects and initiatives. You will work across every function of the business, with a clear view of our most important goals and the biggest risks to hitting them. You won't be perfect, but nothing important gets dropped on your watch. 1. Run the Operating System Your job is to make the CEO's vision real. You'll design and run the rhythms that keep the Executive Team aligned, accountable, and moving at speed: weekly staff meetings, quarterly planning, annual strategy and goal-setting that drives focus. You'll eliminate the overhead that drains momentum (not through process, but through clarity), and you'll proactively surface problems before they become fires. You build, manage, lead, and iterate the operating system and are accountable for its effectiveness. When the team needs to recalibrate, you're the one who sees the pattern and brings people together to solve it. You're the keeper of how we operate. 2. Staff the CEO You help the CEO focus on the work that matters most to Panorama, and you help the CEO be highly effective in their role. You'll help him organize and protect his time, take work off his plate, and keep an eye on operations across the business so that issues get solved without needing him. A key part of the CEO's role is external - with superintendents and state leaders, foundation executives, board members, investors, and media. You'll make sure he walks into those meetings prepared with the right materials and background. Sometimes you're in the room; sometimes you're running the follow-up. 3. Lead Strategic Initiatives You will drive high-impact initiatives that either open up new growth or fix something important in how we operate. You own them end to end: diagnosis, getting the right people aligned, execution, close. Sometimes you'll do the work yourself; sometimes you'll lead a small cross-functional team. Examples of the kind of work: evaluating an M&A opportunity, running a philanthropic fundraising effort for a key initiative, drafting a cross-functional strategy around a goal, planning the executive team offsite, fixing an operational issue. 4. Write in the CEO's Voice Much of what the CEO sends and says will start with you: team meeting talking points, investor updates, board materials, follow-ups to customers. You'll learn how he thinks and write things he can send with a quick sign-off rather than a heavy edit. That takes clear writing, compelling story-telling, making complicated things simple, and getting the details right. 5. See & Act on Organizational Signals You will have the pulse of the organization. You talk to product teams, you drop into customer calls, you pick up on tensions in the organization, you understand what's working and what's broken. You'll bring that back to the CEO with a point of view: here's what I'm hearing, here's what I think it means, here's what we should do about it. 6. Thought Partner to Leaders Across Panorama You will be a strong thought partner to the Executive Team and senior leaders across Panorama. You're a peer who knows enough about GTM, finance, product strategy, and talent to ask hard questions and contribute meaningfully. You'll challenge the CEO and leadership team when their thinking isn't crisp or misses the big picture, including telling the CEO things he doesn't want to hear. You'll spot when two functions are working at cross-purposes and broker alignment. Other Expectations Travel: 15-20%. Availability: candidates may work from any US time zone, but please note the CEO is based on Pacific Time. Requirements What You Will Bring Our ideal candidate brings K-12 education experience or high-growth technology startup experience (a bonus if you bring both). 6+ years of experience in chief of staff, strategy, operations, management consulting, and/or banking roles, or a directly comparable role supporting senior executive leadership. Exceptional written and oral/presentation skills at the executive level. You can write in someone else's voice, for a range of audiences, and make complicated things simple. Deep commitment to learning and continuous improvement. You bring genuine curiosity about how AI and emerging technologies are reshaping business and education. You're never satisfied with 'that's how we've always done it' - you're the person who challenges the team to evolve and helps Panorama stay ahead of what's possible. Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives, drive decisions, and deliver results without direct authority. Strong analytical and structured thinking skills; ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into clear recommendations. Experience designing and running operating cadences including leadership syncs, goal/OKR processes, and strategic planning cycles. Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in a complex domain and think strategically across multiple functions. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive business, team, and strategic information. Passionate about about improving education for every student Preferred: strong experience using and building AI agents. Benefits What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) retirement plan with company match Remote work arrangements Originally posted on Himalayas

Busca, compara y prepara tu candidatura

No necesariamente. La empresa puede limitar los países de residencia, exigir autorización para trabajar o fijar un horario. Comprueba estos puntos en la oferta original. Si no aparecen, consúltalos con la empresa antes de asumir que puedes trabajar desde tu ubicación.

¿Qué hago si no aparecen resultados?
