To reinforce our team and expand 3E’s footprint in the North American renewable energy market, we are looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer - OT/IT to help accelerate the growth of SynaptiQ, our digital platform for operational asset management and analytics. You will be the technical advisor in customer conversations, ensuring prospects understand how SynaptiQ supports renewable asset performance optimization across the full project lifecycle, and that the platform can connect to their existing operational data and systems. You will join our Commercial (Sales) team and collaborate frequently with Sales, Product Management & Engineering, and Operations/Customer Success to shape winning solutions for prospects. You will report to the Presales Manager and will also collaborate closely with colleagues in Europe as needed. Because the US office is still growing, this role requires high autonomy and initiative. You will have a lot of ownership, visibility, and influence from day one, as you will actively contribute building the playbooks, demo assets, and qualification standards. As our Pre-sales Solutions Engineer in the US, you'll own the technical side of the sales cycle in North America, from first discovery call through demo, pilot, proposal, and handover to delivery. You are the person who makes a prospect confident that SynaptiQ perfectly works their fleet, with their data, in their operating environment. Alongside, your North American pre-sales responsibilities, you will serve as the OT/IT integration subject matter expert within the pre-sales team. You will support colleagues in North America and Europe in assessing integration requirements, evaluating feasibility, designing integration projects and identifying risks. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Operations teams. In this job you will: Lead technically across the full sales cycle. Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, shape the solution, and carry technical credibility from first call to signature. Demo SynaptiQ value. Run tailored demos and presentations that connect platform capability (smart alarms, task management, dashboards, reporting, KPI frameworks, loss detection, and root-cause analysis) to the operational and financial outcomes a specific customer cares about, for both technical and executive audiences. Run technical discovery. Facilitate workshops to map customer workflows, data landscape, integration surface, security constraints, and success criteria, then translate that into a clear solution fit. Scope and run pilots and PoCs. Define measurable success criteria up front, coordinate data access and configuration, and drive the pilot to the expected outcomes across all stakeholders. Own technical content in proposals. Contribute to statements of work, technical assumptions, architecture and integration notes, and implementation approaches, ensuring alignment with product capabilities, delivery realities, and customer expectations. Provide OT/IT expertise across the sales cycle. Assess how customer SCADA, data acquisition systems, historians, gateways and APIs can connect to SynaptiQ. Identify integration re-requisites, unsupported interfaces, data quality issues and operational or cybersecurity constraints. Build and scale our integration practice. Develop the discovery questions, compatibility view, security documentation and partner capability map that let the whole team qualify integration faster, in North America and in Europe. Feed market insights back into the organization. Share field feedback with Product and internal teams (recurring needs, objections, competitor signals, and demo improvements) to strengthen our go-to-market approach and translate recurring integration demand into a prioritized input for our platform roadmap. You are a pragmatic problem-solver who combines technical depth with customer-facing communication. You take the technical lead and turn open questions into clear next steps. You stay composed in fast-moving situations and enjoy creating clarity, structure, and repeatable ways of working, an especially valuable strength as we continue building and scaling our US office. Required for this role: 3+ years in industrial / utility OT environments including hands-on systems integration and meaningful renewable energy exposure. You understand operations in at least one relevant asset class, such as solar, battery storage or wind, and you can hold a credible conversation with asset managers, O&M providers, IPPs, developers, and EPCs. 3+ years in a sales, presales, or customer-facing commercial role, such as pre-sales, solutions engineering, systems integration or implementation. You can lead technical projects, understand customer needs, and translate technical findings into valuable insights for the sales of SynaptiQ. Hands-on IT/OT integration experience. You have personally designed, configured or troubleshoot operational data integration, involving SCADA, data acquisition systems (DAS), industrial gateways, local data buffering, or historian. You can assess source interfaces, tag mapping, timestamps, units, sampling intervals, missing data, historical data transfer and design and execute an integration plan. Technical discovery and storytelling. You are comfortable facilitating workshops, asking sharp questions, and presenting to both technical and business audiences. Solid SaaS and cloud fundamentals. You can explain architecture, integration, and implementation concepts practically. You have worked with relevant industrial protocols or interfaces, such as Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT, or REST APIs. Autonomy. You find the information, move work forward without waiting, and ask for help early when needed. Fluent English, spoken and written, with strong presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Authorization to work in the United States. Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, events, and internal alignment (as needed). Bonus points for: Comfort with hybrid, multi-technology portfolios: our customers increasingly combine solar, storage and wind in a single portfolio. Data and analytics fluency: KPI frameworks, data quality, performance modelling, dashboarding and reporting. Familiarity with the US market context: ERCOT, CAISO, PJM, NERC requirements, and how they shape what owners need from a monitoring and analytics platform. Spanish, or other additional languages useful across North America and LatAm. Presales tooling: CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), demo environments, API tooling such as Postman, and practical SQL or Python skills. Experience with OPC-UA and MQTT protocols will be highly valued. In addition to joining a fast-growing international company that promotes a stimulating atmosphere in a highly motivated group of people, 3E offers a unique opportunity to further develop yourself in a company with an ambitious growth plan, delivering innovative services. For this payroll position based out of our Durham office we offer: - A base salary in line with your experience - Unlimited PTO - Health plan (United Healthcare) for employee and family: employee contribution ranging between 15% and 30%, depending on chosen plan - Optional dental and vision insurance (50% coverage by employer) - Life insurance - 401(k): employer matches employee contributions with 100% up to a 4% (of the salary) treshold, and another 50% between 4% and 6% - $60 monthly phone allowance

No necesariamente. La empresa puede limitar los países de residencia, exigir autorización para trabajar o fijar un horario. Comprueba estos puntos en la oferta original. Si no aparecen, consúltalos con la empresa antes de asumir que puedes trabajar desde tu ubicación.

¿Qué hago si no aparecen resultados?
