For over a decade now, OpenNebula Systems has been building the open source technology that helps organizations around the world to manage their corporate data centers and build Enterprise Clouds with unique, innovative features. Born back in the day as an open source platform for Private Clouds, OpenNebula is a powerful, but easy-to-use, open source Cloud & Edge Computing Platform whose community includes nowadays leading companies and public agencies in a wide range of industry niches and countries. If you want to join an established leader in the cloud infrastructure industry and the global open source community, keep reading, because you can now join exceptionally passionate, talented colleagues, and help world´s leading enterprises implement their next-generation edge and cloud strategies. We are hiring! Come join us in our distributed, fully-remote, international team, where we promote Creativity, Innovation, Collaboration, Open Communication and Iterative Work, and we´re seeking a Full-Stack Developer to work in the development of the OpenNebula open-source cloud management platform and its new strategic project in edge computing Since 2019, and thanks to the support from the European Commission, OpenNebula Systems is leading the edge computing innovation in Europe, investing heavily in research and development, and playing a key role in the key strategic initiatives of the European Union. Job Description The OpenNebula Systems team is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join the team. You will work across front-end and back-end development, with a stronger focus on front-end, helping us deliver robust, maintainable features for our open-source cloud management platform. We are looking for a versatile developer with solid professional web development experience who is comfortable moving beyond a narrow front-end role. You will take ownership of features, work autonomously, explain technical decisions clearly, and propose improvements. Experience working in Linux environments is important, while exposure to virtualization, CLI tooling, Ruby, or cloud infrastructure will be a strong plus as the role can evolve across different areas of the product over time. As we are an international team, please submit your CV in English. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain features across the OpenNebula web interface, working primarily on front-end development while contributing to back-end components when needed. Own the implementation of new features from development through testing, documentation, and delivery. Write well-tested, maintainable code with strong test coverage and a focus on long-term software quality. Troubleshoot and solve development issues across the front-end/back-end boundary in Linux-based environments. Produce clear and concise technical documentation and explain your developments and technical decisions to the team. Proactively propose ideas and improvements to the product, codebase, and development practices. Collaborate closely with other developers and contribute beyond a single layer of the stack as priorities evolve. Experience Required Academic Background and Certifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering. Professional Experience 3+ years of professional software development experience in real production environments, with experience beyond purely front-end work. Hands-on experience developing web applications across both front-end and back-end components. Experience developing and maintaining user-facing web applications in production. Experience collaborating on software projects using modern development workflows, version control, and technical documentation. Technical Experience Strong web development experience with React, Angular, or Vue; willingness to work primarily with React in the day-to-day role. Practical experience with Node.js, NPM, and modern JavaScript development workflows. Comfortable working independently in Linux-based development environments (e.g., RHEL/AlmaLinux, Ubuntu/Debian). Use of version control systems such as Git and experience with automated testing practices; Cypress experience is a plus. Comfortable using command-line tools and troubleshooting development environments. Knowledge of virtualization, Ruby, or OpenNebula/similar cloud platforms is a strong plus. Language Skills Intermediate to Advanced English level (B2 or higher) is required. Soft Skills & Collaboration Full-stack mindset, with the flexibility to contribute across front-end and back-end development rather than working in a narrowly defined area. Strong self-management and accountability, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver work independently. Clear communication skills and the ability to explain your developments, technical decisions, and proposals to others. Collaborative and pragmatic approach, with a willingness to work closely with teammates and contribute to shared technical decisions. Product-oriented mindset, with the ability to turn ideas and requirements into maintainable, production-ready software. Curiosity and adaptability to broaden your knowledge over time into areas such as virtualization, networking, cloud infrastructure, or other parts of the OpenNebula stack. What's In It for Me? Busca, compara y prepara tu candidatura

No necesariamente.

¿Qué hago si no aparecen resultados?
