Circana is expanding its partnership with the client, one of the fastest-growing and most recognized food & beverage brands in the U.S. The client has signaled strong interest in growing its base contract with Circana, and we are seeking a Director, Client Insights to play a critical role in the strategic agenda. Engaging with stakeholders, delivering insight-led solutions across the client's brand and category portfolio, and operating as a strategic extension of the client Cat Man Team are key requirements of the role. This is a high-visibility opportunity for someone who thrives on building strategic client relationships, owning the outcome and providing a POV based on data driven insights. Job Responsibilities Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circana’s data and software solutions with their strategic goals. Deliver Insight-Led Solutions: Translate complex data into actionable insights that help clients make informed decisions and achieve measurable outcomes. Manage the Sales Cycle:Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting, needs assessment, solution development, negotiation, and closing. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Insights, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success. Build Strategic Relationships:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including decision-makers and influencers. Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends in [retail, CPG, or general merchandise] to position Circana as a thought leader and trusted advisor. Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Leverage Circana’s proprietary platforms (e.g., Unify+, Liquid Data, Intelligence Suite) to support client engagements and solution delivery. Achieve Revenue Targets:Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning. Champion Client Success: Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value. Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrated ability to conceive, manage, and deliver fact-based analyses, with a focus on consumer solutions, providing clients with clear, actionable insights to inform strategy. Serve as the primary client service contact for the client, managing service-related inquiries, requests, and issue resolution with timely and effective responses Ensure data accuracy and consistency through regular quality checks and scheduled updates of syndicated and custom tools and deliverables Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, tools, training, and overall client experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree 7+ years of progressive business experience with a strong understanding of manufacturer/retailer issues having worked in one or more of the environments below: Retailer (any channel) Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturer Experience working with syndicated data, analytics, and category management. 5+ years of experience working with syndicated data, analytics, category management, or related CPG insights roles, including experience with POS, consumer panel or syndicated data sources. Sales experience Successful storytelling that is proactive and concise in delivering results for both Circana and the client. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $115 to $130K. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
