The Financial Post is Canada’s leading business news brand and serves the National Post and other Postmedia properties, including the Vancouver Sun, Calgary Herald, Edmonton Journal, Ottawa Citizen and Montreal Gazette.
The Financial Post is looking for an experienced, ambitious editor to join our editorial leadership team as National Bureau Chief. Based in Toronto, the National Bureau Chief will play a central role in shaping our coverage of Canadian business and the economy from coast to coast. You will work closely with senior editors in Toronto and regional bureau chiefs across the country to identify the stories that matter and sharpen our national coverage. The role also includes directing a team of reporters in Ontario and Quebec.
This is a role for an editor with strong news judgment who can see beyond the day's headlines, identify the forces driving the news and help reporters produce journalism that is timely, authoritative and valuable to Financial Post readers.
Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location. Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
