Job description

On behalf of DataTech Client #1, SD Solutions is looking for a talented Technical Project Manager to lead client implementations of a product, a Master Data Management (MDM) platform that runs inside each client's own Databricks workspace and cloud environment.

You will own delivery from kickoff to go-live: planning the work, coordinating Frisco Analytics engineers with client data, security, and business teams, and keeping everyone clear on status, risks, and decisions. Because the platform is deployed in the client's environment, much of the work is shared with client teams, so clear and steady communication matters as much as technical fluency in this role.

SD Solutions is a staffing company operating globally. Contact us to get more details about the benefits we offer.

Responsibilities:

Delivery and planning

  • Run two to three concurrent product implementations end to end: scope, plan, schedule, budget, and go-live.
  • Break each engagement into workstreams such as environment setup, source system onboarding, match tuning, data steward enablement, and production cutover.
  • Track milestones, dependencies and resourcing, and fix slippage early rather than reporting it late.
  • Manage scope and change requests through a clear, documented process.

Client and stakeholder coordination

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for client sponsors, data owners, platform administrators, and business data stewards.
  • Coordinate the work clients own in their own environment, such as Databricks workspace access, Unity Catalog permissions, and cloud infrastructure, so it lands on time.
  • Facilitate decisions on match rules, confidence thresholds, and steward review workflows, and record who decided what and why.
  • Lead steering committee meetings and executive readouts.

Security and compliance support

  • Work with Frisco Analytics and product teams to support client security reviews and due diligence questionnaires during onboarding.
  • Ensure implementation team members follow the access, data handling, and confidentiality requirements that apply to client engagements.
  • Route security incidents or concerns to the right owners promptly.

Team leadership

  • Coordinate a delivery team of data engineers and consultants without direct reporting authority.
  • Run sprint ceremonies, stand-ups and retrospectives, and keep project tooling and documentation current.
  • Capture lessons learned to improve Frisco Analytics' implementation playbook.

How you'll communicate

Strong communication is the core skill of this role. You will be the person clients and engineers rely on to know where things stand and what happens next.

  • Translate between audiences. Explain entity matching, golden records, and access permissions to business sponsors in plain language and turn business needs into clear requirements for engineers.
  • Write clearly. Produce concise status reports, RAID logs, decision records, meeting notes, and project plans that a busy executive can scan in two minutes.
  • Run focused meetings. Set agendas, keep discussions on track, close with owners and dates, and send follow-ups the same day.
  • Deliver hard news early. Raise risks, delays, and scope issues directly, with options and a recommendation, before they become surprises.
  • Listen and ask good questions. Uncover unstated requirements, client constraints, and concerns from security and governance teams.
  • Hold firm, kindly. Push back on scope creep and unrealistic dates while keeping the relationship strong.
  • Present with confidence. Lead steering committees, demos, and executive readouts for client leadership.

Requirements:

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years managing client-facing technical or data projects.
  • A track record of delivering data platform, data integration, analytics, or enterprise software implementations on time and within budget.
  • Working knowledge of cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake or similar) and at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure).
  • Understanding of data concepts such as data quality, data governance, role-based access control, and handling of personal data (PII).
  • Comfort with both Agile and Waterfall delivery, and the judgment to blend them for a client's needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal English, with examples of client-facing reports, presentations, or executive updates you have owned.
  • Experience with project tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or equivalent experience.

Advantages:

  • Experience implementing Master Data Management (MDM), entity resolution, or customer 360 solutions.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, or Databricks workflows.
  • Exposure to AI or machine learning features in enterprise software, including how to explain human review and auditability to clients.
  • Experience supporting client security reviews, vendor due diligence, or compliance requirements such as SOC 2.
  • A PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification.
  • Consulting or systems integrator background, working across several clients at once.

About the company:

A Databricks-native SaaS platform built to consolidate enterprise data into a single AI-ready layer. The product covers three domains: master data management (MDM), relationship graphs, and product information management (PIM) — all governed and deduplicated via LLMs and running natively on the Databricks Lakehouse.

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for SD Solutions. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
