Title of role subject to change
Proto is making the world's biggest macro themes directly tradable for the first time: data center growth, AI capex, GPU manufacturing, US foreign arms sales, as easy as trading on Robinhood. Private mainnet beta on Solana launching Fall 2026.
We’re building a new market mechanism designed to improve how markets handle a broader range of scalar outcomes. Rather than re-using perpetual futures or traditional binary predictions, our approach enables more continuous price discovery through a novel market structure, creating a more efficient and intuitive trading experience while enabling 10-20x leverage.
Built by a veteran ex-Phantom team (VP Product at Ondo, Quant Research at Citadel, experience leading teams at Google, Pinterest, Facebook, and Carta), with early angels including the founders of Phantom, Jito, Pendle, Goldsky, Meld, and SimpleHash.
You will be one of Proto’s first hires and own marketing, social, community and work together with the CEO on BD, partnerships & client management. This role reports directly to the CEO.
You are a hands-on growth and marketing generalist who can multiply their impact with the latest, cutting-edge AI tools: run our social presence, generate earned media mentions via media and PR outreach, generate static and video creative (with budget and a contractor if needed) write marketing copy, build a KOL program, and co-market with the wallets, terminals, and trading bots that integrate Proto. You’ll work with and incorporate feedback from marketing leads at our VC partners and the Solana Foundation.
A high-ownership seat for someone who wants to define how an entirely new financial category gets explained.
Own social. Run Proto's presence on X, LinkedIn, and other channels, helping shape the overall channel strategy and balancing serious trader-focused content with lighthearted Solana-native energy. You should already be using AI to generate content and analyze existing trends.
Be a one-human marketing army with the newest AI tooling. Build and run your own AI workflows for analyzing what works across channels, drafting and posting, and generating longform, static creative, and launch videos. You do not need to be a designer, but you need to have great taste. There will be contractor resources available for longer-form videos.
Drive earned media. Work with PR agencies to place Proto's data in the right stories across crypto, finance, semiconductor, and mainstream outlets, positioning it as a new source of truth that has never been available before.
Run the KOL, influencer, and partner program. Onboard credible voices and partners across domains like Solana, AI, and retail equities trading through incentives, and amplify their theses using our markets.
Build the referral and loyalty program. Design, launch, and manage referral and loyalty mechanics that reward traders for inviting others and staying active, then continuously iterate on incentive structures and analyze competitive programs across crypto and fintech to keep ours best-in-class.
Co-market integrations. Partner with the third-party frontends that integrate Proto (wallets like Phantom, terminals, Telegram bots, AI and active vaults) on joint social, competitions, and launch moments so their users discover Proto markets.
Own community. Craft and run Proto's community strategy, manage the userbase of our private waitlist beta, stay highly responsive on X, and be a trusted point of contact for traders, funds, and integrators, shared with the CEO and CTO.
5+ years doing marketing or growth full-time at a tech or tech-adjacent startup or company
2+ years of full-time experience in web3/crypto, founder experience counts too
Hands-on social and content experience, ideally running a brand's voice end to end.
Some familiarity writing PR-style pitches to publications.
AI wizard: you build your own AI workflows, you use AI to analyze and post across channels and to generate longform, static creative, and video. If your AI use is just using web or , no offense, but please don’t apply to this role until you join the rest of us in 2026 😇
Taste. Tools make execution easy, so the job is judgment: you know the difference between a campaign that works and one that just ships, you can say why a piece of creative or copy is good or bad, and you back that with numbers.
You operate like a founder. You are comfortable with ambiguity, fine being the only marketer in the room, and biased toward shipping.
You are a trader. You trade stocks or crypto in your spare time, own or follow names like NVIDIA, Micron, or TSMC, and follow the markets on X daily. You know crypto Twitter, AI Twitter, and WallStreetBets well enough to post in their voice and tell what will land.
US hours. Prefer based in US, but potentially open to remote, must have large overlap with US hours.
When you apply, link three things you shipped that you are proud of, and describe the AI workflow behind one of them.
Experience marketing a Solana or DeFi product, or familiarity with the Solana trading-app ecosystem (terminals, Telegram bots, wallets, vaults).
Competitive salary and equity calibrated to seniority and location
Hybrid/remote options available, with team off-sites
Top-tier hardware, whatever else helps you ship
QSBS trusts for you to save millions in taxes on your equity

Start with a role or skill you want to use in your next job. Use the location and role filters to narrow the results, then open a listing to review the description. A title alone rarely explains the level of responsibility, working arrangement, or experience a team needs. Compare those details before deciding which opportunities deserve a tailored application.
Employers use different titles for similar work. If an exact phrase produces no results, try a shorter title, a core skill, or an alternative name for the role. Remove one filter at a time to understand which requirement is narrowing your search. A broader search can reveal suitable work without asking you to change your actual qualifications.
For each promising listing, read the responsibilities and separate essential requirements from preferences. Note the location, schedule, employment type, and compensation when provided. Missing details are questions to confirm with the employer. A remote opening may still require a particular country, work authorization, or time-zone overlap, so check the full posting before treating it as a location-independent opportunity.
Choose a few examples that demonstrate the skills this employer names. Explain your contribution and its outcome, using accurate numbers where available. Put the most relevant experience first and keep your resume easy to scan. Avoid adding technologies, qualifications, or achievements simply because they appear in a description. Your application should make your existing strengths easier to understand.
Follow the employer’s instructions for resumes, cover letters, work samples, and screening questions. Review the exported file before submitting it: confirm that contact details are correct, text can be selected, and links reach the intended pages. A resume check can help you spot unclear writing before you apply. Its feedback is advisory and does not predict a hiring decision.
Listings are collected from external sources and may change after they appear here. The employer or recruiting destination controls whether applications are open. If an original link is unavailable, check the company’s careers page for the title or move to another opening. An employer website link is a place to check current vacancies, rather than confirmation that a particular job is still accepting applications.
Keep a simple record of the company, role, job reference, application date, and documents you sent. Record any follow-up instructions and the next action you plan to take. This makes it easier to prepare for interviews, compare opportunities, and avoid applying repeatedly to the same opening through different boards. Review your shortlist as employers update their listings and prioritize opportunities with clear requirements that match the work you want to do.
