At Wavelength we are building a global social media, marketing and creator agency built around the power of talent, content and communities. Our network has 300 million+ followers and reaches 950 million+ views every month across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and Facebook.
We create high impact marketing campaigns that connect brands with engaged audiences through creator partnerships, social storytelling, content production and live experiences across adventure, action sports, travel, automotive, fitness, wellness, beauty, technology, sustainability and entertainment.
We are putting together a network of territory focused licensing agents around the world and looking for highly connected, commercially driven, deeply experienced brand licensing specialists who understand their local market and have the relationships, credibility and entrepreneurial drive to build a licensing business with us around some of the world's leading social media talent and social brands.
As a Country Licensing Agent, you will effectively become our partner and licensing representative in your territory. Who should be licensing our talent and IP in your market and how do we get them to the table?
You will be expected to proactively identify opportunities across areas such as:
The opportunity is deliberately broad because our network of talent and intellectual property spans multiple categories.
Once opportunities are developed, you will work closely with the Wavelength team to manage the programme in your territory.
Maintaining relationships with licensees and commercial partners
Coordinating with Wavelength on negotiations and agreements
Monitoring opportunities and deal progress
Supporting product and campaign development where required
Identifying additional commercial opportunities within existing partnerships
Reporting market intelligence and pipeline development to Wavelength
Helping grow successful partnerships over the long term
You will own the market relationship, while Wavelength provides the wider network, talent relationships, commercial infrastructure and central support.

Access to Wavelength's global talent network

Central commercial and management support
Support with negotiations and deal structures
Global relationships with brands and agencies
The ability to build international licensing programmes around successful properties
As The Country Licensing Agent, you will bring the local knowledge, relationships, commercial instinct and execution.
This opportunity is suited to someone who already has a strong network and understands how business is conducted in their respective market.
Desired professional background and industry experience
We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate:
A strong network of senior commercial contacts
Excellent business development and sales skills
Experience negotiating commercial partnerships
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to identify opportunities rather than simply respond to them
Persistence and the ability to develop relationships over time
Genuine interest in creators, talent, media, brands and intellectual property
We are looking for entrepreneurs and agents and not employees. You should already know your market. You should already know who the major players are. If you can open doors, develop relationships and turn opportunities into revenue, we want to hear from you. Apply through the portal or send your resume and cover letter to Thando () with the following:
A summary of your relevant experience in licensing, IP commercialization, or media partnerships, including a link to your LinkedIn profile.
Overview of your active industry network, key local market relationships,
Examples of high-impact partnerships, licensing agreements, or commercial deals you have personally developed and closed.
The specific licensing categories (e.g., apparel, CPG, tech accessories, LBE) you believe offer the highest revenue opportunity in your market.
The creator economy has created an enormous amount of valuable intellectual property, audiences and cultural influence. Much of that value remains underdeveloped commercially.
Wavelength sits at the intersection of creators, audiences, brands, media and commercial partnerships. We are building a global network that can identify that value and turn it into scalable commercial opportunities. For the right licensing agent, this represents an opportunity to build a significant licensing business in their market without having to build the underlying talent network themselves.

Start with a role or skill you want to use in your next job. Use the location and role filters to narrow the results, then open a listing to review the description. A title alone rarely explains the level of responsibility, working arrangement, or experience a team needs. Compare those details before deciding which opportunities deserve a tailored application.
Employers use different titles for similar work. If an exact phrase produces no results, try a shorter title, a core skill, or an alternative name for the role. Remove one filter at a time to understand which requirement is narrowing your search. A broader search can reveal suitable work without asking you to change your actual qualifications.
For each promising listing, read the responsibilities and separate essential requirements from preferences. Note the location, schedule, employment type, and compensation when provided. Missing details are questions to confirm with the employer. A remote opening may still require a particular country, work authorization, or time-zone overlap, so check the full posting before treating it as a location-independent opportunity.
Choose a few examples that demonstrate the skills this employer names. Explain your contribution and its outcome, using accurate numbers where available. Put the most relevant experience first and keep your resume easy to scan. Avoid adding technologies, qualifications, or achievements simply because they appear in a description. Your application should make your existing strengths easier to understand.
Follow the employer’s instructions for resumes, cover letters, work samples, and screening questions. Review the exported file before submitting it: confirm that contact details are correct, text can be selected, and links reach the intended pages. A resume check can help you spot unclear writing before you apply. Its feedback is advisory and does not predict a hiring decision.
Listings are collected from external sources and may change after they appear here. The employer or recruiting destination controls whether applications are open. If an original link is unavailable, check the company’s careers page for the title or move to another opening. An employer website link is a place to check current vacancies, rather than confirmation that a particular job is still accepting applications.
Keep a simple record of the company, role, job reference, application date, and documents you sent. Record any follow-up instructions and the next action you plan to take. This makes it easier to prepare for interviews, compare opportunities, and avoid applying repeatedly to the same opening through different boards. Review your shortlist as employers update their listings and prioritize opportunities with clear requirements that match the work you want to do.
