The way engineers build is changing, and we are looking for developers who are excited to be in the room when that happens. If you eat bugs for breakfast and believe great software should feel like magic, let's chat! 🚀
You'll work across Synera's product, from our web-based execution platform to the low-code desktop editor and customer portal, helping bring these pieces together into one cohesive and awesome experience. Along the way, you'll have room to experiment: trying out new approaches, bringing AI into your own workflow, and pushing for better ways of building rather than just the familiar ones.
That means shaping the way users interact with complex engineering automations, and making it feel simple, fast, and even fun. We're looking for someone who’s excited to own features end-to-end, explore new technologies, and help connect the dots between our different products.
If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment where ideas (and pizza 🍕) are always shared, you’ll feel right at home with us.
Monday: You kick off the week by syncing with fellow devs across teams: sharing breakthroughs, tackling tough bugs, or dropping a hot tip about that obscure TypeScript feature you mastered recently.
Tuesday: Time to dive into a new technical challenge: you and your team huddle up for a design session to figure out how to make a complex feature feel like magic for the user.
Wednesday: You create a pull request for your current story that you’re proud of. Then you help a teammate level up their code with thoughtful reviews (and just the right amount of emoji feedback 🎯✨).
Thursday: It’s demo day! You show off what the team’s built during the sprint, watching features come together and getting high-fives (virtual or real) from across the company.
Friday: You sit in on a customer call with our success team and get real insights into what’s working, and what’s not. That afternoon, during your bi-weekly Friday project time, you spin up a quick prototype that just might solve their problem.
You get to know our code base and product.
You start to support other developers by completing reviews.
You take on stories of increasing complexity with increasing independence.
You add and adjust skills of our software factory.
You take responsibility for bigger features and epics.
You drive topics in an expert domain of yours.
You take ownership of design and decisions made to create a certain module or feature.
Here is our team at the summer event - join us at the next one! 👋
We believe in transparent conversations about compensation from the start. For this role, our planned salary ranges are:
Experienced Level: €74,000 - €92,000 annually
Advanced Level: €88,000 - €116,000 annually
We determine the level we hire you for based on your experience, the scope of responsibilities you'll take on, and the impact you can drive. While we typically hire within these bands, we're open to some flexibility for candidates who bring exceptional value to the role.
Check out this page to learn how we approach salary, career growth, and creating an environment where everyone can shine.
Flexible working: you decide when & where to work (as long as you have a residency in Germany).
Flexible public holidays: swap days off according to your values and beliefs!
Home office setup support + access to our office in Bremen.
Personal development budget of €2,000 to attend conferences and trainings or buy interesting books to improve in an area of your choice.
We don't count your vacation days, as we trust all our team members to decide what's best for them and the company.
Prefer two wheels over four? 🚲 We’ve got you covered with JobRad.
To support your personal and professional well-being, we offer company fitness with Wellpass and mental health platform nilo.
Regular team events, virtual coffee breaks, and spontaneous afterworks. We also get together as a whole company for 2-3 day off-sites twice a year! 🌈
Even if you don't meet these criteria perfectly but believe you have lots to bring to the role, we encourage you to apply. We know it's tough, but please keep in mind that you don't have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role.
You resonate with Synera's Core Values - they're central to how we work, and we'll explore them together in your first interview.
You have at least 3 years of working experience as a Software Engineer.
You are proficient in Typescript and web application frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) as well as either in C#/.NET or Python.
You work with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
You have worked with Docker and feel confident in basic DevOps tasks.
Working with AI tools and coding agents is natural for you.
You have a sense of urgency and want to work in an ambitious team.
Ideally, you also have experience with WPF - and if you also know your way around ReactiveUI, that’s the cherry on top.
You might have experience as a solution or software architect.
You might have a mechanical engineering background or worked on an engineering software.
P.S. Synera is a place where everyone can grow. So, however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come to work every day, and be prepared to share with us how your perspective will bring something unique and valuable to our R&D team.

Start with a role or skill you want to use in your next job. Use the location and role filters to narrow the results, then open a listing to review the description. A title alone rarely explains the level of responsibility, working arrangement, or experience a team needs. Compare those details before deciding which opportunities deserve a tailored application.
Employers use different titles for similar work. If an exact phrase produces no results, try a shorter title, a core skill, or an alternative name for the role. Remove one filter at a time to understand which requirement is narrowing your search. A broader search can reveal suitable work without asking you to change your actual qualifications.
For each promising listing, read the responsibilities and separate essential requirements from preferences. Note the location, schedule, employment type, and compensation when provided. Missing details are questions to confirm with the employer. A remote opening may still require a particular country, work authorization, or time-zone overlap, so check the full posting before treating it as a location-independent opportunity.
Choose a few examples that demonstrate the skills this employer names. Explain your contribution and its outcome, using accurate numbers where available. Put the most relevant experience first and keep your resume easy to scan. Avoid adding technologies, qualifications, or achievements simply because they appear in a description. Your application should make your existing strengths easier to understand.
Follow the employer’s instructions for resumes, cover letters, work samples, and screening questions. Review the exported file before submitting it: confirm that contact details are correct, text can be selected, and links reach the intended pages. A resume check can help you spot unclear writing before you apply. Its feedback is advisory and does not predict a hiring decision.
Listings are collected from external sources and may change after they appear here. The employer or recruiting destination controls whether applications are open. If an original link is unavailable, check the company’s careers page for the title or move to another opening. An employer website link is a place to check current vacancies, rather than confirmation that a particular job is still accepting applications.
Keep a simple record of the company, role, job reference, application date, and documents you sent. Record any follow-up instructions and the next action you plan to take. This makes it easier to prepare for interviews, compare opportunities, and avoid applying repeatedly to the same opening through different boards. Review your shortlist as employers update their listings and prioritize opportunities with clear requirements that match the work you want to do.
