Are you a highly autonomous video creator who can take an idea from concept to publication, owning every step of the process with minimal guidance?
Do you love combining creativity, storytelling, and strategy to create video content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and business growth?
Are you excited by the challenge of building a video-first culture and becoming the go-to video expert within a fast-growing SaaS company?
Are you passionate about empowering WordPress website creators, using your video expertise to guide them on their journey?
If you're excited about the idea of using video to communicate powerful messages, build brand presence, and support WordPress creators, then you might be the perfect fit for our team. 🤩
We're seeking a creative individual who excels in both video production and innovative idea generation for both long and short videos, to join us as our Video Content Creator for our three products: WP Rocket,Imagify, and RocketCDN. 🚀
Video is a strategic growth channel for us. As our Video Content Creator, you'll play a critical role in increasing brand visibility, educating our audience, strengthening our community, and supporting our business goals through compelling storytelling.
You'll work closely with our Marketing Team while operating with a high level of autonomy, bringing fresh ideas, challenging the status quo, and continuously identifying new opportunities to leverage video across the business.
In this role, you'll report to the Head of Marketing and become an integral part of our marketing team. We're looking for someone based in Europe to ensure strong collaboration with the team. This is a full-time permanent position hired through our Employer of Record partner, Deel.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Defining and executing the video content strategy for WP Rocket, Imagify, and RocketCDN, tailored to each platform and informed by current trends and audience preferences.
Setting up and managing your own video equipment: choosing, testing, and maintaining your camera, audio, and lighting.
Writing scripts for both long and short videos, from the first idea to the final cut.
Filming, including recording yourself discussing technical topics related to web performance and WordPress, and handling post-production (editing, sound, motion) on your own.
Publishing videos regularly across platforms and responding to user interactions.
Creating video adswith strong hooks and visuals that drive measurable results (clicks, sign-ups, conversions), and testing hooks, formats, and creative angles based on performance data.
Developing and maintaining a cohesive brand voice and visual style across all video content.
Working closely with the marketing team so your videos support campaigns and brand goals, and tracking performance to refine your strategy.
Storytelling skills - You have a knack for crafting compelling narratives through visual media, effectively communicating messages that captivate and engage your audience. You're attentive to detail and committed to creating exceptional viewer experiences.
Video editing skills - You're skilled in the technical aspects of video production, including sound, lighting, and the use of post-production tools. Your expertise ensures that every piece of content is polished and professionally presented, enhancing the overall storytelling experience.
WordPress Knowledge and/or Taste for Technical Products - You have a solid understanding of WordPress or a genuine interest in technical products, with the ability to translate complex technical features into engaging video content.
Excellent proficiency in English - Your English is absolutely perfect. You write with excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills, while remaining accessible to a non-native English-speaking audience.
Proven working experience in video marketing - You have experience with social media marketing, particularly in creating video content that resonates on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Organizational skills- You can juggle different tasks but also know when to ask for help. The team will always be at your side to support you in case of doubt, but relies on you to deliver on time for seamless collaboration.
Autonomy and ownership: You’re comfortable being the only video expert on the team. You can take a brief (or just a goal) and turn it into a finished video without someone guiding each step. You make your own technical and creative decisions, and you know how to organise your workflow and priorities.

Start with a role or skill you want to use in your next job. Use the location and role filters to narrow the results, then open a listing to review the description. A title alone rarely explains the level of responsibility, working arrangement, or experience a team needs. Compare those details before deciding which opportunities deserve a tailored application.
Employers use different titles for similar work. If an exact phrase produces no results, try a shorter title, a core skill, or an alternative name for the role. Remove one filter at a time to understand which requirement is narrowing your search. A broader search can reveal suitable work without asking you to change your actual qualifications.
For each promising listing, read the responsibilities and separate essential requirements from preferences. Note the location, schedule, employment type, and compensation when provided. Missing details are questions to confirm with the employer. A remote opening may still require a particular country, work authorization, or time-zone overlap, so check the full posting before treating it as a location-independent opportunity.
Choose a few examples that demonstrate the skills this employer names. Explain your contribution and its outcome, using accurate numbers where available. Put the most relevant experience first and keep your resume easy to scan. Avoid adding technologies, qualifications, or achievements simply because they appear in a description. Your application should make your existing strengths easier to understand.
Follow the employer’s instructions for resumes, cover letters, work samples, and screening questions. Review the exported file before submitting it: confirm that contact details are correct, text can be selected, and links reach the intended pages. A resume check can help you spot unclear writing before you apply. Its feedback is advisory and does not predict a hiring decision.
Listings are collected from external sources and may change after they appear here. The employer or recruiting destination controls whether applications are open. If an original link is unavailable, check the company’s careers page for the title or move to another opening. An employer website link is a place to check current vacancies, rather than confirmation that a particular job is still accepting applications.
Keep a simple record of the company, role, job reference, application date, and documents you sent. Record any follow-up instructions and the next action you plan to take. This makes it easier to prepare for interviews, compare opportunities, and avoid applying repeatedly to the same opening through different boards. Review your shortlist as employers update their listings and prioritize opportunities with clear requirements that match the work you want to do.
