by a passionate team, our mission is to make pet care simple, accessible, and joyful for all.
Because pets aren't just animals—they're family.
We connect pet parents to two kinds of supply. On our marketplace, we match them with independent service pros for grooming, boarding, training, and daycare. Those pros run their business on Yourgi Pro. Through Yourgi Connect, we link pet parents directly into brick-and-mortar centers, including Destination Pet, Four Walls, and a growing national network. There they can check live availability, reserve a spot, and book in real time.
We run on web and native iOS and Android apps, for pet parents on one side and the pros and centers who serve them on the other. We’re live in five markets and adding more.

REPORTS TO: Chief Product & Technology Officer
PAY: $195,000-$245,000 base +20% bonus
Product strategy - Develop and own the product strategy across the five teams. It covers the problems we solve and the bets we place, and it names what we won’t build. - Ground it in customer evidence, the market, competitors, and unit economics, and revisit it as evidence changes.
Goals and roadmap - Turn the strategy into quarterly goals for each team: one outcome metric plus the input metrics that drive it, defined and baselined before the quarter starts. - Keep one prioritized roadmap across the five teams, each item tied to the goal it moves. - Run product’s weekly business review and the actions that come out of it.
Fast testing with AI - Test bets before scaling them, using the cheapest method that answers the question: prototypes, fake-door tests, concierge pilots, or A/B tests. - Set each bet’s success metric and kill criteria before it starts. Scale, change, or stop it on the results. - Run research synthesis, spec drafts, and experiment analysis with AI by default, and train the team to work this way.
The product team - Hire, coach, and grow the product managers, and set the bar for the craft. - Give each product manager a business number to own, with the data and the authority to move it. - Build a team that pulls in support, sales, marketing, or operations to get a result, and handles the work itself when that is faster.
Product’s voice - Represent product to the leadership team. Bring the current numbers and the risks, and present the plan to hit the goals. - Treat quality as a product outcome. Own defect and reliability metrics for booking alongside conversion. - Partner with the VP of Engineering on scope and capacity, and hold the business goal when the two conflict.
Must-haves - Has rebuilt a product team’s discovery, spec, or analysis workflow around AI tools, and uses AI daily in their own work. - 10+ years in product management, including 3+ years managing product managers. - Has directly owned a conversion, revenue, or retention number, and can name the product choices behind it. - Has built a product strategy from customer and market evidence, set metric-based goals from it, and driven execution. - Has validated bets quickly, from prototypes to A/B tests with sample sizing and guardrail metrics, and scaled or stopped them on the results. - Self-serve analytics: writes SQL or builds analyses in a tool such as Mixpanel or Amplitude without waiting on an analyst. - Experience with a two-sided marketplace or software that service businesses run on, such as tools for salons, clinics, fitness studios, or home services.
Differentiators - Has worked on a consumer marketplace and the business software its supply runs on - Has co-authored a multi-year product vision with a CEO or product executive - Startup or growth-stage experience - Booking, scheduling, or local-services products, where real-time availability shapes conversion - Consumer mobile apps at scale on iOS and Android - Has built a goal and metric system from scratch - Pet care industry experience
In your first 90 days, you’ll deliver a written product strategy and set goals with each team. You’ll also co-author the 2-3 year product vision with the CPTO. Within a year, each product manager owns a business number, teams test before they build, and AI is routine in how product works.

Start with a role or skill you want to use in your next job. Use the location and role filters to narrow the results, then open a listing to review the description. A title alone rarely explains the level of responsibility, working arrangement, or experience a team needs. Compare those details before deciding which opportunities deserve a tailored application.
Employers use different titles for similar work. If an exact phrase produces no results, try a shorter title, a core skill, or an alternative name for the role. Remove one filter at a time to understand which requirement is narrowing your search. A broader search can reveal suitable work without asking you to change your actual qualifications.
For each promising listing, read the responsibilities and separate essential requirements from preferences. Note the location, schedule, employment type, and compensation when provided. Missing details are questions to confirm with the employer. A remote opening may still require a particular country, work authorization, or time-zone overlap, so check the full posting before treating it as a location-independent opportunity.
Choose a few examples that demonstrate the skills this employer names. Explain your contribution and its outcome, using accurate numbers where available. Put the most relevant experience first and keep your resume easy to scan. Avoid adding technologies, qualifications, or achievements simply because they appear in a description. Your application should make your existing strengths easier to understand.
Follow the employer’s instructions for resumes, cover letters, work samples, and screening questions. Review the exported file before submitting it: confirm that contact details are correct, text can be selected, and links reach the intended pages. A resume check can help you spot unclear writing before you apply. Its feedback is advisory and does not predict a hiring decision.
Listings are collected from external sources and may change after they appear here. The employer or recruiting destination controls whether applications are open. If an original link is unavailable, check the company’s careers page for the title or move to another opening. An employer website link is a place to check current vacancies, rather than confirmation that a particular job is still accepting applications.
Keep a simple record of the company, role, job reference, application date, and documents you sent. Record any follow-up instructions and the next action you plan to take. This makes it easier to prepare for interviews, compare opportunities, and avoid applying repeatedly to the same opening through different boards. Review your shortlist as employers update their listings and prioritize opportunities with clear requirements that match the work you want to do.
