The Software Product Manager is responsible for defining and leading the strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, performance, and lifecycle of assigned software products and platform capabilities. This role serves as the voice of the customer and market, translating validated user problems, business objectives, product data, technical constraints, and competitive insights into clear outcomes, prioritized investments, and executable plans.
As a key member of the Platform Product Management team, the Software Product Manager owns assigned software products and platform capabilities from problem discovery and business-case development through delivery, launch, adoption, optimization, and retirement.
This position is accountable for establishing a compelling product vision, defining measurable outcomes, and making evidence-based prioritization decisions that improve customer value, revenue growth, retention, operational efficiency, and strategic differentiation.
The Software Product Manager works closely with Product Design, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Quality Assurance, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Regulatory, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Support, and regional teams. Success in this role requires the ability to lead through influence, balance customer and business needs with technical considerations, and enable agile teams to deliver secure, scalable, accessible, and supportable software solutions.
