Melotech is revolutionizing media and entertainment. We create art through technology for humans to enjoy. In just 24 months, our work has been heard, watched and loved for over 4 billion minutes worldwide.
Founded by entrepreneur and investor Soheil Mirpour, we are backed by top VCs Cherry Ventures, Speedinvest and GFC, alongside world-class angels from firms such as Spotify, Blackstone and KKR.
As our first dedicated Social Media Manager, you will architect, build, and grow our social presence. You are the mastermind behind telling a compelling brand story, while assembling a passionate community around it. You'll tackle the big questions: What brand strategy will present our products as special, yet authentic? How can we tell stories which inspire a loyal followership? And what systems allow us to manage multiple platforms and channels in a scalable way? Working fully autonomously alongside our founder and the team, your answers to these questions will directly influence our company's success. On a typical day, your tasks may include:
Launching social media accounts for our products and brands from zero across all platforms
Managing our portfolio of channels and content pieces in a consistent, structured and professional manner
Collaborating with creative teams to deliver exceptional daily content with cohesive messaging across all platforms
Leading and mentoring content creators while establishing streamlined workflows and quality assurance processes
Developing audience growth frameworks through sophisticated analysis of engagement metrics and viral content patterns
Cultivating authentic fan communities through strategic engagement and proactive community management
You're a social media strategist who knows how to juggle mass content, authenticity and community management at once. Your expertise spans the complete social ecosystem and you have successfully scaled accounts to significant followings. You operate independently in dynamic environments, seamlessly collaborating with creatives as well as fans to drive both cultural impact and engagement metrics. Typically, your profile will look like this:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field from a reputable university
3+ years of intensive social media management experience in entertainment, music, or other media sectors
Advanced proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and platform-specific optimization techniques
Exceptional analytical and creative capabilities with ability to preserve authentic brand voice while driving growth
Managing multi-brand social presence across multiple established and emerging platforms
Self-motivated approach with genuine passion for creator economy, entertainment industry, and social media innovation
You thrive in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment
Colleagues would describe you as hard-working, ambitious and persistent
You’re obsessed with music, video and social media
Bonus: Your posts or pages have already gone viral on social media in the past
You are one of the first employees of an ambitious team, changing the world of media and entertainment. Being early means every decision you make shapes our trajectory. You're not a cog in the machine but the captain of your own ship, rewarded for performance and respected for leadership. Flat hierarchies mean that your voice matters, your ideas get implemented, and your impact is immediate.

Start with a role or skill you want to use in your next job. Use the location and role filters to narrow the results, then open a listing to review the description. A title alone rarely explains the level of responsibility, working arrangement, or experience a team needs. Compare those details before deciding which opportunities deserve a tailored application.
Employers use different titles for similar work. If an exact phrase produces no results, try a shorter title, a core skill, or an alternative name for the role. Remove one filter at a time to understand which requirement is narrowing your search. A broader search can reveal suitable work without asking you to change your actual qualifications.
For each promising listing, read the responsibilities and separate essential requirements from preferences. Note the location, schedule, employment type, and compensation when provided. Missing details are questions to confirm with the employer. A remote opening may still require a particular country, work authorization, or time-zone overlap, so check the full posting before treating it as a location-independent opportunity.
Choose a few examples that demonstrate the skills this employer names. Explain your contribution and its outcome, using accurate numbers where available. Put the most relevant experience first and keep your resume easy to scan. Avoid adding technologies, qualifications, or achievements simply because they appear in a description. Your application should make your existing strengths easier to understand.
Follow the employer’s instructions for resumes, cover letters, work samples, and screening questions. Review the exported file before submitting it: confirm that contact details are correct, text can be selected, and links reach the intended pages. A resume check can help you spot unclear writing before you apply. Its feedback is advisory and does not predict a hiring decision.
Listings are collected from external sources and may change after they appear here. The employer or recruiting destination controls whether applications are open. If an original link is unavailable, check the company’s careers page for the title or move to another opening. An employer website link is a place to check current vacancies, rather than confirmation that a particular job is still accepting applications.
Keep a simple record of the company, role, job reference, application date, and documents you sent. Record any follow-up instructions and the next action you plan to take. This makes it easier to prepare for interviews, compare opportunities, and avoid applying repeatedly to the same opening through different boards. Review your shortlist as employers update their listings and prioritize opportunities with clear requirements that match the work you want to do.
