Join our Embedded Payments team as a DevOps Engineer to make a real impact every day. We say that because we know that every conversation we have, every pipeline we build and every system we automate is another opportunity for us to elevate everyday life experiences for our customers and the people and communities they serve.
Reporting into the DevOps Engineering Manager, you'll help us build and scale the infrastructure behind our cloud-native payment orchestration platform that processes significant transaction volume across multiple Xplor brands. You are passionate about building reliable, secure systems and the automation that keeps them running smoothly while maintaining engineering best practices. You think about infrastructure end-to-end, from CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code down to monitoring, alerting, and incident response. You're comfortable owning the platform that everything runs on and collaborating closely with backend, frontend, QA, and engineering teams to ship and operate high-quality software.
We are looking for curious and empathetic people. We also love to hear from people who are motivated by meaningful work, resonate with our core values, have a positive outlook, are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive working in an ever-evolving and complex environment. We are inspired by meeting big-picture thinkers and doers, people who can be both tactical and strategic, aim high and put people first in everything they do.
At Xplor, we believe that the best innovation and ideas happen at the intersections of our differences - people of diverse cultures, generations, disciplines, and lived experiences. So even if you think you do not tick all the boxes, we still encourage you to apply.
Our five core values guide us from how we hire and recognise our team members to how we interact with our customers day to day:
If these values sound like you, and describe people you want to work with, you will thrive at Xplor.
As an Xplorer, you will be part of a global network of talented colleagues who will support your success. We look for commonalities and shared passions and give people the tools they need to deliver great work and grow at speed.
To start your application, please submit your resume, and we will be in touch as soon as we can. Please include the word "moonshot" at the top of your message to the Hiring Manager so that we know you took the time to read our job ad.
To be considered for employment, you must be legally authorised to work in India. This applies to remote roles too, as we can only employ people who reside within India. Xplor does not sponsor visas, either at the time of hire or at any later time. We're also not able to offer contractor arrangements or Employer of Record engagements for this position at this stage.
Please apply through our careers portal or external job boards only. We're unable to upload emailed applications, as our process requires you to answer screening questions directly.
We also invite you to check out our Candidate FAQs for more information about our recruitment process .
As part of our hiring process, successful candidates will be asked to complete background and identity verification checks. Many of our roles are remote, and to protect both candidates and our business from recruitment fraud, we may record video interviews during the process. We keep any recordings and related data only for as long as the hiring process is active and do not retain them afterwards.
We believe in transparent hiring. We use an applicant tracking system with artificial intelligence-enabled features to support our recruitment process, but our recruitment team makes all hiring decisions after human review. We do not rely on artificial intelligence to make final hiring decisions. Find our Candidate AI Usage guidelines here.

Start with a role or skill you want to use in your next job. Use the location and role filters to narrow the results, then open a listing to review the description. A title alone rarely explains the level of responsibility, working arrangement, or experience a team needs. Compare those details before deciding which opportunities deserve a tailored application.
Employers use different titles for similar work. If an exact phrase produces no results, try a shorter title, a core skill, or an alternative name for the role. Remove one filter at a time to understand which requirement is narrowing your search. A broader search can reveal suitable work without asking you to change your actual qualifications.
For each promising listing, read the responsibilities and separate essential requirements from preferences. Note the location, schedule, employment type, and compensation when provided. Missing details are questions to confirm with the employer. A remote opening may still require a particular country, work authorization, or time-zone overlap, so check the full posting before treating it as a location-independent opportunity.
Choose a few examples that demonstrate the skills this employer names. Explain your contribution and its outcome, using accurate numbers where available. Put the most relevant experience first and keep your resume easy to scan. Avoid adding technologies, qualifications, or achievements simply because they appear in a description. Your application should make your existing strengths easier to understand.
Follow the employer’s instructions for resumes, cover letters, work samples, and screening questions. Review the exported file before submitting it: confirm that contact details are correct, text can be selected, and links reach the intended pages. A resume check can help you spot unclear writing before you apply. Its feedback is advisory and does not predict a hiring decision.
Listings are collected from external sources and may change after they appear here. The employer or recruiting destination controls whether applications are open. If an original link is unavailable, check the company’s careers page for the title or move to another opening. An employer website link is a place to check current vacancies, rather than confirmation that a particular job is still accepting applications.
Keep a simple record of the company, role, job reference, application date, and documents you sent. Record any follow-up instructions and the next action you plan to take. This makes it easier to prepare for interviews, compare opportunities, and avoid applying repeatedly to the same opening through different boards. Review your shortlist as employers update their listings and prioritize opportunities with clear requirements that match the work you want to do.
