At Cohere, we're committed to transforming the enterprise landscape through strategic partnerships and innovative AI solutions. As a Partner Development Manager for Germany and the DACH Region focused on the Public Sector & Enterprise Market, you'll be at the heart of our mission to empower businesses and government entities across the region with cutting-edge AI technologies.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment and is passionate about driving growth through collaboration. Collaborate with enablement to scale partner enablement through sales and technical workshops, empowering them to deliver value to enterprise customers and government agencies.
Own joint pipeline generation by creating co-sell motions, solution plays, and strategic joint go-to market motions that align Cohere's capabilities with enterprise mission needs and public sector procurement cycles.
Collaborate with partners to identify and pursue high-value opportunities in both commercial and government contracts.
Ensure partners are aligned with Cohere's strategic goals and performance metrics, including public sector compliance and reporting requirements.
Run joint business planning sessions and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with partners, tracking sourced and influenced ARR against targets.
Serve as the voice of the partner within Cohere, relaying feedback to Product, Engineering, and Legal teams.
Work with Cohere's Public Policy teams to navigate government AI policies and regulations to advise partners on risk management and responsible AI best practices for the public sector.

If you're passionate about building strategic alliances, driving innovation, and making a difference in one of the world's most dynamic markets including the public sector, this is the role for you.
8+ years of experience in partner development, channel sales, or alliance management within the tech industry, preferably in AI or cloud solutions, with a track record of enterprise ARR contribution and public sector partnerships.
Deep understanding of public sector organizations, government agencies, and municipal institutions, plus the enterprise market and key industry verticals.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a track record of driving partner success in both commercial and public sector environments.
Experience and demonstrated depth with Sovereign Cloud GTM.
Ability to navigate complex regulatory and compliance landscapes, including AI ethics, government policies, and public sector procurement requirements.

We may use AI-enabled tools to screen and assess applicants against the criteria for this position. This helps our recruiters identify potentially qualified candidates, but it doesn't limit the applications our recruiters may review or consider.
Beware of Scams: Cohere will never ask for payment or third-party services (e.g., CV writing) as part of our hiring process. All legitimate roles are listed on the Cohere careers page and LinkedIn only, with all communications from Cohere employees coming from an @cohere.com or @cw.cohere email alias. If jobs are viewed on other sites then please verify these through our official careers page.
Start with a role or skill you want to use in your next job. Use the location and role filters to narrow the results, then open a listing to review the description. A title alone rarely explains the level of responsibility, working arrangement, or experience a team needs. Compare those details before deciding which opportunities deserve a tailored application.
Employers use different titles for similar work. If an exact phrase produces no results, try a shorter title, a core skill, or an alternative name for the role. Remove one filter at a time to understand which requirement is narrowing your search. A broader search can reveal suitable work without asking you to change your actual qualifications.
For each promising listing, read the responsibilities and separate essential requirements from preferences. Note the location, schedule, employment type, and compensation when provided. Missing details are questions to confirm with the employer. A remote opening may still require a particular country, work authorization, or time-zone overlap, so check the full posting before treating it as a location-independent opportunity.
Choose a few examples that demonstrate the skills this employer names. Explain your contribution and its outcome, using accurate numbers where available. Put the most relevant experience first and keep your resume easy to scan. Avoid adding technologies, qualifications, or achievements simply because they appear in a description. Your application should make your existing strengths easier to understand.
Follow the employer’s instructions for resumes, cover letters, work samples, and screening questions. Review the exported file before submitting it: confirm that contact details are correct, text can be selected, and links reach the intended pages. A resume check can help you spot unclear writing before you apply. Its feedback is advisory and does not predict a hiring decision.
Listings are collected from external sources and may change after they appear here. The employer or recruiting destination controls whether applications are open. If an original link is unavailable, check the company’s careers page for the title or move to another opening. An employer website link is a place to check current vacancies, rather than confirmation that a particular job is still accepting applications.
Keep a simple record of the company, role, job reference, application date, and documents you sent. Record any follow-up instructions and the next action you plan to take. This makes it easier to prepare for interviews, compare opportunities, and avoid applying repeatedly to the same opening through different boards. Review your shortlist as employers update their listings and prioritize opportunities with clear requirements that match the work you want to do.
