TiriVelo Pet Care Services Inc. is a Canadian pet care technology startup building a trusted marketplace that connects pet owners with verified pet care providers.

Our mission is to make finding reliable pet care simpler, safer, and more transparent through technology. We're developing a platform that helps pet owners discover trusted dog walkers, pet sitters, and other care providers while giving professionals the tools they need to grow their businesses.

As a growing startup, our team collaborates with students and emerging professionals from universities and design programs across North America. Interns have the opportunity to contribute directly to real product development, work alongside cross-functional teams, and see their ideas move from concept to implementation.

We're currently preparing for our initial platform launch and are looking for passionate individuals who want hands-on experience helping build the future of pet care technology.

Role Description

TiriVelo is seeking a passionate UI/UX Design Intern to help create intuitive and engaging experiences for pet owners and pet care providers. As part of our product team, you'll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and business stakeholders to improve both our web and mobile platforms as we prepare for launch.

You'll contribute to real product initiatives including onboarding experiences, booking workflows, provider profiles, customer support tools, payment experiences, and administration dashboards.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on startup experience while helping shape a growing technology platform from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX Design, HCI, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and problem-solving approach.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Passion for creating thoughtful user experiences.
• Interest in startups, technology, or marketplace platforms is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

This is currently an unpaid internship. In return, interns receive hands-on experience working on a real-world technology platform, mentorship from industry professionals, opportunities to collaborate with engineering and product teams, and portfolio-worthy projects that can demonstrate measurable impact.
