UI/UX/ Product Designer (REMOTE)

About the position Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a UI/UX/ Product Designer with experience with Salesforce to support KITS and our government customer. The position is remote. This position requires the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance. Responsibilities Designing user interfaces, prototypes, and wireframes for Salesforce applicationsCollaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user requirementsCreating user-centric designs that enhance usability and user experience within Salesforce applicationsDeveloping wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to demonstrate design conceptsWorking closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency with Salesforce platform standardsConducting usability testing and gathering user feedback to iterate on designsImplementing Salesforce customizations and configurations to achieve the desired user interfaceEnsuring design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all Salesforce applicationsRequirements Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with specific experience in Salesforce designProficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or FigmaStrong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design projects, specifically in Salesforce environmentsDeep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practicesExperience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and Lightning ComponentsProficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for design implementationAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environmentAbility to obtain public trust clearanceNice-to-haves Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder)Experience with mobile app design and responsive web designKnowledge of design accessibility standardsFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesBackground in government or federal IT projectsBenefits health, dental and vision insurance401K with company matchingflexible spending accountspaid holidaysthree weeks paid time off
