Zipmi is building the operating system for the US immigration economy, starting with DS-160 visa application processing that serves 11M+ applications annually. We're disrupting a fragmented market currently dominated by expensive lawyers and consultants, offering AI-assisted completion and submission at $25 vs. the $200–500 status quo. Around that core, we're building a travel services ecosystem — eSIMs, travel insurance, accommodations, and other partner products surfaced at exactly the right moment in the visa journey. In parallel, we're building an H-2 visa product and labor marketplace that connects seasonal immigrant workers to US employers, with document automation, compliance workflows, and embedded financial services woven throughout.

Two distinct products. One shared platform. Both built on the belief that a document automation engine, done right, unlocks an entire ecosystem of services for people who've historically had none.

The Role

We're hiring a hands-on Technical Product Manager to drive the day-to-day development of two product surfaces: our DS-160 + travel ecosystem, and our H-2 visa + labor marketplace product. This is not a strategy-from-above role. You'll sit directly between designers and engineers — translating designs into clear, buildable specs, breaking work into well-scoped tickets, clearing blockers, and keeping the team shipping.

You should be comfortable in the technical details: reading the schema, understanding the API contract, and knowing why a given flow is hard to build, not just what it should do. You've built products where the document or form IS the user journey — and where getting that right unlocks everything else. Because we serve a predominantly Spanish-speaking population, full professional fluency in English and Spanish is required.

We're hiring across Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, and beyond).

What You'll Do

• Sit between design and engineering: turn mockups and requirements into precise, buildable specs that engineers can pick up without a meeting.
• Using Jira, break features into well-scoped tickets, sequence them sensibly, and keep the board moving — chasing down blockers and dependencies before they stall the team.
• Get into the technical substance: trace how data flows through immigration forms including DS-160 and H-2 filings, understand the partner integration layer powering the travel ecosystem, and reason about edge cases in form logic and government APIs.
• Be the connective tissue that keeps designers, engineers, and operations in sync day to day — surfacing tradeoffs and gaps early instead of late.
• Keep the DS-160 travel ecosystem and H-2 labor marketplace build on track, accounting for the seasonal demand cycles that drive both.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in product management at a technology company, with meaningful time at a high-bar org (a LatAm unicorn, FAANG-adjacent team, or a well-run growth-stage startup with strong eng culture).
• Deep experience with complex document workflows, multi-step regulated processes, or government/legal/compliance data — immigration, tax, legal, HR, healthcare, or similar.
• Experience building or managing third-party partner integrations — APIs, embedded partner products, or ecosystem plays.
• Genuinely technical instincts: you can read an API spec or a data model, follow a code-level discussion, and write specs engineers respect.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (non-negotiable).
• A bias toward shipping and a track record of keeping teams moving — strong at the unglamorous work of scoping, sequencing, and unblocking.
• Comfort in the details and on a small team; you'd rather be in the build than in the boardroom.
• Based in Latin America — we are a remote-first team and actively seek LatAm-based talent.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with US immigration workflows (DS-160, H-2A/H-2B, USCIS/State Department); experience with travel ecosystem products or partner marketplaces; labor marketplace experience; AI-assisted document automation; embedded fintech inside a larger product workflow; experience serving immigrant or Latin American markets; Portuguese fluency.
