Structural Design Engineer

About the job: We are seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer to support the structural design and engineering of facade systems and building envelope components. The role involves structural analysis, preparation of engineering calculations, design of support structures and anchors, coordination with architects and structural consultants, and ensuring compliance with relevant Indian and international codes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design key structural components such as aluminum members, secondary steel framing, brackets, anchor bolts, embedded plates, and welded or bolted connections while performing comprehensive calculations to account for wind, dead, live, seismic, and thermal loads, as well as deflection limits and serviceability criteria. 2. Prepare technical calculation reports for client submission, review shop drawings, and cross-examine architectural, structural, and MEP plans to ensure seamless interdisciplinary coordination. 3. Working closely with architects, structural consultants, contractors, system suppliers, and glass processors, you will attend technical meetings, conduct site inspections, resolve constructibility issues, offer value engineering solutions, and strictly maintain compliance with relevant national and international standards, including IS Codes, NBC, Euro codes, AISC, ASCE 7, ASTM, and BS Standards.
