Job description

TrendAI™, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, empowers organizations with full AI visibility and consolidated security that inspires confidence, drives innovation, and eliminates risk.

At TrendAI™, we’re always seeking exceptional talent; people who want to collaborate with the best and push boundaries together. Here, your work goes beyond building a career. You will help protect what matters and play a vital role in shaping a safer, more trustworthy AI-powered future.

AI Fearlessly.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Strategic Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts across Germany. This is a relationship-focused role where you’ll be the voice of TrendAI with your key accounts, developing strategy with them, replacing competitive products, and finding new opportunities to grow the business together. You’ll work with partners, resellers, and systems integrators to execute account strategies, maintain pipeline discipline, and keep relationships strong across multiple levels of each organization. This is entrepreneurial in feel — you own your accounts, you own the strategy for them, and you own the growth.

What you’ll do

  • Own a named portfolio of enterprise strategic accounts in Germany — this is your business to grow
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for each customer — understanding their business, their priorities, and where TrendAI can add real value
  • Create new opportunities within your accounts — positioning TrendAI solutions, replacing competitor products, and opening doors to new stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong multi-level relationships — you’re credible with C-suite and technical teams alike, and you know how to navigate enterprise buying
  • Work with systems integrators, resellers, and channel partners to enable account growth — you’re the quarterback, making sure everyone’s aligned and moving the account forward
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast reporting — you own your numbers, and you communicate them clearly and on time
  • Represent TrendAI at industry events, exhibitions, and customer presentations — you’re out there building visibility and credibility in the market
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to the Head of Strategic Sales on account health, pipeline, competitive threats, and opportunities

What we’re looking for

  • Proven strategic sales success — you’ve held a senior sales role (SAM, Account Executive, or similar) in a high-tech, enterprise-focused environment. You have a track record of closing large deals and growing customer relationships.
  • Security market knowledge — you understand the cybersecurity and IT security landscape. You know the players, you understand what enterprise buyers care about, and you can speak credibly about security solutions.
  • New business + account growth — you’re comfortable both hunting for new opportunities within accounts and farming existing relationships. You can replace competitors and expand wallet share.
  • Relationship builder — you’re excellent at influencing, negotiating, and building trust across multiple levels of an organization. Enterprise deals involve many stakeholders, and you know how to navigate that.
  • German fluency — you’re fluent in German and English.
  • Channel and partner savvy — you understand how to work with systems integrators and resellers to accelerate deals. You’re not trying to do it all yourself — you’re leveraging the ecosystem.
  • Disciplined and entrepreneurial — you maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting. You own your numbers. But you also have the mindset of an entrepreneur — this is your business, and you want to grow it.

What we offer

  • A portfolio of enterprise accounts to own and grow
  • Competitive salary and benefits (details on application)
  • Fully remote role based in Germany, with flexibility for customer travel
  • A partner and channel ecosystem that supports your success
  • Access to a stable, credible security company with 35+ years in the market — now leading in AI security
  • An open, transparent culture where you have direct visibility to leadership and strategy

At Trend Micro, we embrace change, empower people, and encourage innovation in a connected world. Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for Trend Micro. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
