Job description
Robust.AI is an early-stage startup founded by an unsurpassed team of veterans in
robotics, AI, and Supply Chain who are dedicated to making the promise of Physical AI a
reality. We are a collaborative group with a diverse set of perspectives, seeking talented
individuals who are passionate about developing robotic solutions that are valuable to
customers and delightful to use. Help us redefine the very foundation of robotics and
build robots that are smart, safe, and flexible: fully autonomous and truly collaborative.
As a Solutions Engineer at Robust.AI, you will join a small, fast-paced team responsible
for designing robotic solutions for warehouse and fulfillment operations. You will work
closely with Sales and directly with prospective and existing customers to understand
their operations, analyze data, develop system concepts, and demonstrate how
Robust.AI's AMR, Carter, can improve their business.
This role combines warehouse engineering, data analysis, simulation, and customer
engagement. You will help develop solutions throughout the sales cycle, from initial
discovery and site visits through system design, simulation, proposal development, and
technical validation.
We are looking for someone who enjoys solving open-ended engineering problems, can
work across multiple customer projects, and is comfortable turning imperfect real-world
information into practical, data-driven solutions.
Main Responsibilities
● Analyze customer operational data to understand order profiles, SKU profiles
throughput requirements, labor productivity, and other inputs required for design.
● Develop AMR solutions including workflows, facility layouts, cart configurations,
labor requirements, productivity estimates, and descriptions of operation.
● Build and analyze discrete-event simulations to validate system performance,
evaluate design alternatives, identify bottlenecks, and support fleet sizing.
● Develop and modify warehouse layouts using AutoCAD.
● Participate in customer discovery calls, technical discussions, site visits, and
facility walkthroughs to understand current operations and validate solution
assumptions.
● Identify missing /or inconsistent data, develop engineering assumptions, and
clearly document the inputs and methods behind solution recommendations.
● Partner with Sales to develop proposals, presentations, ROI analyses, and other
materials that communicate the operational/business value of Robust.AI solutions.
● Support customer demonstrations, technical reviews, and other engagements
throughout the sales process.
● Collaborate with Product, Software, Deployment, and Engineering teams to
evaluate technical requirements, product capabilities, implementation
considerations, and potential solution risks.
● Develop and improve internal analytical tools, simulation models, and processes
that make solution development faster, more consistent, and scalable.
● Manage multiple customer projects concurrently and prioritize work based on
deadlines and business needs.
Minimum Requirements
with large and imperfect real-world datasets.
operations, automation, data science, or a related field.
results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
throughput, capacity, and labor productivity.
paced environment.
demonstrations, and post-deployment support.
Nice to Have
● Experience with warehouse automation, including AMRs, AGVs, goods-to-person
systems, conveyor, sortation, or other material-handling technologies.
● Experience with discrete-event simulation software, preferably FlexSim.
● Strong Python skills for data processing, visualization, simulation, optimization, or
engineering tool development.
● Familiarity with warehouse optimization techniques such as batch picking,
zoning, order clustering, SKU slotting, and labor planning.
● Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control
systems (WCS), and other logistics software.
● Experience developing automation concepts, productivity models, capacity
models, or ROI analyses.
● Experience working directly with customers in a technical, consulting, pre-sales, or
project environment.
● Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
What You'll Bring to the Table
curiosity about how technology can improve real-world operations.
● A strong problem-solving mindset and comfort working on problems where the
answer is not immediately obvious.
● Attention to detail and a willingness to question inputs, validate assumptions, and
sanity-check analytical results.
● The ability to move between data, layouts, simulation models, and customer
conversations to understand how an operation works as a complete system.
● Strong ownership of your work and the ability to clearly explain what you
analyzed, what you assumed, what you found, and what you recommend.
● A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working across Sales, Engineering,
Product, Software, and Deployment teams.
What We Offer
● $95,000–$130,000, experience dependent
● Full benefits (health, dental, vision, life)
● Stock options
● Flexible vacation and sick leave practices
● Remote work
● Opportunity for career growth

Prepare your application
Use the description above to assess your fit for Robust AI. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.
Match requirements to evidence
Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.
Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.
Check the working arrangement
Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.
Review before submitting
Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.
Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.
Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
