Software Engineer (Python) Location: On-site Department: Engineering Experience Level: Fresh Graduate to Mid-Level (0–2 years) Employment Type: Full-time About the role We're looking for an ASE/Mid-level Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build, maintain, and scale our web applications and backend services. This role is open to both fresh graduates who are eager to learn and grow, as well as engineers with some professional experience who want to deepen their craft. You'll work across the stack, primarily using Python for backend services and JavaScript for frontend/full-stack development. What you'll do Design, develop, test, and maintain features across our web applications and backend services Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in Python and JavaScript (Node.js and/or modern frontend frameworks) Collaborate with team members to translate requirements into technical solutions Participate in meetings, giving and receiving constructive feedback Debug and resolve issues in existing systems, from minor bugs to performance bottlenecks Write and maintain technical documentation Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and best practices, and share that knowledge with the team What we're looking for Must-haves: Solid understanding of Python fundamentals (data structures, OOP, async programming); JavaScript fundamentals are a plus but not required Familiarity with at least one backend framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI, Express, NestJS) Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and a CSS framework (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap) is a plus; frontend JS frameworks not required Understanding of REST APIs and how frontend/backend systems communicate Basic knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience Nice-to-haves: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Exposure to containerization (Docker) or CI/CD pipelines Understanding of testing frameworks (unittest, playwright, etc.) Personal projects, open-source contributions, or an internship in a relevant tech stack Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices What we offer: Mentorship and structured onboarding to help you ramp up quickly Opportunity to work on real production systems with meaningful ownership A collaborative, learning-oriented engineering culture On-site role How to Apply Send your resume, GitHub/portfolio link (if available), and a short note about a project you're proud of.
