Software Engineer, Java/Spring Boot

Job Description: Design, build, scale, and enhance software products, applications, and platforms based on client needs and business requirements Collaborate with designers, product teams, and fellow engineers to develop effective technical solutions Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Contribute to architecture discussions, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives Deploy and support applications in cloud-based environments Learn and adapt across a variety of technologies, tools, and client environments Work across multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment Perform other duties as assigned Attend two company-wide events annually and occasionally travel for client or team needsRequirements: 3+ years of software development experience Deep experience with Java and Spring Boot Experience building and scaling web-based software products or applications Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively across multiple projects and technologies Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS, Argo CD, MongoDB Atlas, React, Go, Python, or C#/.NET is highly valued Voracious appetite to learn and apply new skills Skilled at building web-based software or mobile apps Ability to work with different tools and in different client environments Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipBenefits: Remote work environment Open PTO Subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage 401(k) plan Profit sharing Referral bonuses Company retreats Bellwood arranges and covers travel and accommodation expenses for two annual company-wide events Opportunities for professional growth
