Software Engineer II, Fitbit Subscription Experience

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs that support the discovery and engagement of Fitbit premium features.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational maintenance.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Mobile Engineers (iOS/Android), and various feature teams to define requirements, agree on API specifications, and ensure seamless integration of backend services with the Fitbit app.
• Conceptualize and implement backend solutions to effectively surface the value of premium features, including AI-powered experiences like the personalized health agent, to free users.
• Analyse challenges, propose innovative solutions, and contribute to technical discussions and design reviews within the team.
