Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Develop custom software, focusing on new and existing applications within an Agile framework.

• Configure, analyze, and maintain program code to support business processes and minimize technical debt.

• Participate in application development utilizing Java, Spring Framework, and other modern technologies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring seamless application performance.

• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the quality and performance of assigned applications.

• Adapt to various roles and functions, proactively contributing to problem-solving and innovation.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Bootstrap, Hibernate, HTML5, and Web Services.

• Intermediate SQL skills and demonstrable experience in large-scale web application development.

• Foundational skills in analytical thinking, requirements analysis, and technical troubleshooting.

• Experience with version control tools like Git and proficiency in Object-Oriented analysis and programming.

• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and fix software defects and configuration issues effectively.
