Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design, build, and ship reliable backend services and APIs with well-tested, maintainable code.

• Contribute to software design and architecture decisions, participating actively in code reviews.

• Leverage AI tools and coding agents to enhance development speed and code quality.

• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, QA, and product management in an integrated team.

• Engage directly with customers and users to gain a deep, end-to-end understanding of the product and its challenges.

What You'll Need

• A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong development skills in at least one language such as Go, TypeScript, Rust, or C++.

• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.

• Proficiency in using AI tools and agentic workflows in daily development.

• Professional written and spoken English proficiency.

• A collaborative spirit and enjoyment in building things as part of a team.
