Software Engineer - Full Stack (React/Node.js/MongoDB)

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain web applications. In this role, you will work across both frontend and backend, develop responsive user interfaces, build APIs and services, manage databases, and handle third-party integrations. You will be involved in system design discussions, write clean and maintainable code, and work closely with the DevOps team and other stakeholders to ship features from concept to production. What You Will Do: Build and deliver product features across the full stack, from React components to APIs and databases. Design and implement RESTful APIs and background jobs for data processing and third-party integrations, with occasional Python scripting. Design and manage database schemas, primarily in MongoDB with SQL where needed, including indexing, aggregations, and query optimization. Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces in React using reusable and well-structured components. Ensure performance and scalability through caching, pagination, query optimization, and async processing. Collaborate with the DevOps team on deployments, environment setup, and system architecture on GCP and AWS. Integrate third-party services including authentication, payments, storage, and email. Write automated tests, review PRs, and write code the next person can understand. What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of professional hands-on experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React, including hooks, component architecture, and state management. Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js. Solid experience with data modeling in NoSQL and SQL databases, with strong expertise in MongoDB. Basic Python for scripting is a plus. Strong understanding of REST principles, Git, and collaborative development practices. Practical knowledge of application scalability concepts such as caching, queues, and database performance. Ability to own a feature from initial requirements to production deployment with minimal supervision. Nice to Have: TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker / CI/CD, WebSockets, Python, Stripe integration, multi-tenant SaaS experience, working with LLM / AI APIs.
