About the Role

We are looking for a self-driven Software Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will work independently to support and maintain our US-based platform, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the development of our Generative AI–powered products.

You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Lead Developers based in California, taking ownership of platform issues and ensuring timely resolution with minimal supervision. This is a fully remote position with a fixed shift aligned to US working hours. 

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues escalated by the US team
• Develop and maintain web-based applications for our AI-powered platforms
• Build and support server-side and client-side JavaScript components
• Implement and enhance features for an AI-powered LMS/LXP and Generative AI tools
• Integrate and consume APIs, including third-party Generative AI APIs
• Work independently to meet project requirements and timelines coordinated by Project Managers in California
• Participate in code reviews, write tests, and maintain documentation
• Apply best practices in modern web and AI-driven development 

Required Technical Skills

• 2–3 years of professional experience in software development
• Proficiency in Node.js or other server-side JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with Vue.js, Angular, or a comparable client-side JS framework
• Solid working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Experience working with API integrations in a production environment
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision 

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Experience designing or consuming RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
• Experience integrating Generative AI APIs into applications
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development or “vibe coding” tools

Other Qualifications

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup with minimal day-to-day oversight
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution
• Good communication skills for async collaboration with a US-based team
• Able to work the scheduled shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 AM–2:00 NN (PHT)
• Interest in AI, education technology, and emerging developer tools
