Job description
The Social Media Manager Intern will support the organization’s digital engagement efforts by assisting with content creation, social media management, audience interaction, and online outreach. This role is ideal for someone interested in communications, public relations, marketing, digital media, or nonprofit outreach.
(CPT/OPT Student Eligible)Responsibilities
Develop and support social media strategies to increase engagement and visibility Create, edit, schedule, and publish content across social media platformsManage posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital channelsMonitor engagement metrics, website traffic, and social media performanceRespond to comments, messages, and community interactions professionallyMaintain consistent branding, tone, and messaging across all platformsSupport SEO, digital outreach, and online campaign effortsAssist with content calendars, promotional materials, and event announcementsCollaborate with leadership and team members on communication goalsQualifications
Experience managing or creating content for social media platformsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBackground in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field preferredAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesInterest in nonprofit work, community outreach, and digital storytellingCreative mindset with attention to detailRequired Skills
