Job Description

About the position You'll be a senior engineer on the team responsible for the Python backend that powers our AI-driven processing platform in production. Beyond orchestrating LLMs, computer vision, and other ML systems, these services run core domain logic, integrate data from a range of sources, and expose the APIs that serve real customer workloads at scale. These systems are how our customers actually experience credium—when they're fast, reliable, and accurate, the whole product works. You'll have a direct hand in making that true. Responsibilities Own core systems and their architecture, the production environment, and the platform's reliability, scalability, and performance—consistently delivering high-quality featuresDrive optimization of resource usage and cost, using monitoring and load-testing data to guide engineering decisions across the teamWork closely with machine learning engineers and backend developers to bridge the gap between AI models and production-ready softwareDrive discussions with multiple stakeholders and lead cross-team technical alignment and deliveryRequirements Several years building and operating Python backend services in production, with deep Python fundamentals and strong experience building APIs (FastAPI or similar)A proven track record designing, owning, and scaling resilient distributed systems — including event-driven pipelines with messaging/task-queue systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Celery, etc.), performance optimization, and load testing at scaleHands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience integrating or operating LLMs or other ML models in productionStrong experience with observability (logging, metrics, dashboards) and debugging complex production issuesAbility to take end-to-end ownership of Python development, drive stakeholder discussions, and align delivery across teamsStrong problem-solving skills, genuine curiosity about how systems behave in production, and good written and spoken EnglishNice-to-haves Experience working in an ISO 27001 / GDPR-compliant environment is a plusBenefits Competitive salary + Virtual Stock Options (VSOPs)Autonomy & responsibility from day oneRemote-friendly & flexible work environmentYour own gear + access to modern toolsExtras like WellpassReal-world impact - accelerate how Europe finances and transforms its residential building stock
