Job description
At Sword, we’re building AI to heal billions and unlock humanity’s full potential. In doing so, we’re pioneering AI Care, a fundamentally new approach to healthcare built for medical reasoning, safety, and real-time treatment, not generic technology applied after the fact. As both a clinical-centric frontier AI lab and an applied AI platform, Sword is reimagining how care is delivered at scale, removing traditional barriers like appointments, waiting rooms, and stigma so more people can access the care they need—and ultimately get back to lives lived in full.
Since 2020, Sword has expanded across physical therapy, women’s health, cardiometabolic, and mental health, and is now moving beyond the session to a fully AI-native, 24/7 care program that brings physical activity, therapeutic exercise, psychotherapy, nutrition, and behavior change into one connected experience. More than 700,000 members across three continents have completed over 10 million AI sessions, helping 1,000+ enterprise clients avoid more than $1 billion in unnecessary healthcare costs. Backed by 42 clinical studies, 44+ patents, and more than $500 million raised from leading investors including Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, and Founders Fund, Sword is defining a new standard for healthcare.
AI Proficiency at Sword
AI fluency is a core expectation at Sword. Every candidate is assessed against our three-level framework — be ready to share real examples of how AI is already part of how you work.
Explorer (Level 1) — Uses AI daily to boost personal productivity
Builder (Level 2) — Creates workflows and tools that elevate the whole team
Integrator (Level 3) — Embeds AI into products and processes at scale
Every hire must demonstrate at least Level 1. The expected level will vary depending on the seniority of the role.
Role
At Sword, quality isn't a final checkpoint, it's a mindset the whole team owns, and as a QA Analyst, you're the one who leads it. This goes way beyond executing tests: you'll own quality end-to-end, shaping the experience long before a line of code is written and long after a feature goes live. Before a feature is even built, you're already in the room, asking the sharp questions that stop issues before they're born. From there, you'll design and run test cases with real autonomy, trusted to make the calls that matter. And when a feature ships, your job isn't done: you'll stay close, supporting the team through whatever comes up. At every step, you're not just checking specs, you're pushing the entire experience to be better, sharper, more seamless. You'll do this inside a cross-functional team and across others when needed, which means your your communication and ability to lead carry weight.
What you’ll be doing
- Work closely within a cross-functional team (Frontend, Backend, Design, Product, etc.) and collaborate across teams when needed;
- Get involved early — contribute to design and development discussions to help prevent issues before they reach testing;
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases;
- Build and maintain QA processes and procedures that the whole team can benefit from;
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution;
- Maintain thorough testing documentation;
- Invest in test automation over time.
What you need to have
- +4 years of experience as a QA Analyst;
- Experience testing web apps;
- Experience in test case design, creation, execution, and reporting;
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills;
- A critical mindset and attention to detail;
- Autonomy and initiative;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with test automation;
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, Jira, Git, Xray, Android Studio.

Job titles may span more than one career level, so actual pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and market demand, among other factors. The range reflects base salary plus any variable, bonus, or sales incentives, and our estimate of the value of private company stock options where applicable. It's subject to change, and future stock value isn't guaranteed. Sword also offers additional benefits beyond total compensation.

Prepare your application
Use the description above to assess your fit for Sword Health. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.
Match requirements to evidence
Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.
Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.
Check the working arrangement
Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.
Review before submitting
Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.
Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.
Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
