Job description

Senior Product Designer (iOS 26 / Liquid Glass / Figma) - Portugal Full Remote

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with native iOS expertise to join a well-established digital product team. They are building a shared, reliable design foundation for multiple product teams. This is a hands-on, fully remote role for a detail-obsessed designer who enjoys bringing order to complexity. You’ll turn a live, evolving product into a structured, well-documented template library that teams will rely on every day.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

The product is live across iOS 26+ and iPadOS 26+, with Apple’s Liquid Glass design language at its core. Your mission is to close the gap between what’s in production and what’s in the design files. You will:

  • Analyse production user journeys and recreate their screens, including states, interactions and platform-specific nuances
  • Compare production components against the design files and identify missing components and discrepancies in structure, appearance or behaviour
  • Document each difference with visual references, deviation descriptions and the affected screens or journeys
  • Build local components and variants that accurately reflect the current product, ready for review and alignment with the Design System
  • Organise screens into reusable templates, named consistently and structured by user journey and platform
  • Make sure templates are easy for different teams to adopt and adapt, with enough context to support new feature design

Expected deliverable: an organised template library that mirrors the live product, with documented discrepancies and local components prepared for review.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

  • Native app design specialism, with proven experience designing with Liquid Glass on iOS 26+ and/or iPadOS 26+. This must be clearly stated on your CV.
  • Hands-on experience working with Design Systems, including how components, variants, patterns and tokens relate, and knowing when to reuse a component and when to propose a new variant. This must also be clear on your CV.
  • Advanced Figma mastery: Auto Layout, components, variants, component properties, variables, styles and libraries
  • High attention to detail and visual rigour, with a strong eye for discrepancies in layout, spacing, typography, colour, iconography and behaviour
  • Solid web and app interaction design background: responsive behaviour, platform conventions and states (loading, error, empty, success, unavailable)
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, so you can describe issues clearly and constructively for designers and developers
  • Systematic, organised thinking to keep screens, journeys and shared files consistent across teams
  • Working knowledge of digital accessibility, to flag issues and guide future decisions
  • Autonomy and clear communication: you manage your own workload, resolve ambiguity and escalate what needs validation
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

  • Previous experience building, contributing to or maintaining a Design System, beyond consuming one

Compensation: €1,800 – €2,500/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for HumanIT Digital Consulting. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
