Job description

Senior Product Builder

North - Remote (US)

Let’s go North, together.

Join our mission to build the largest suite of credit card processing and merchant services. It’s one simple payment platform backed by the most diverse payment companies. From credit card processing to back-office management, North points the way to smarter, faster, and just plain better payment solutions.

Job Summary:
The Senior Product Builder is a hands-on, builder-first role focused on defining, designing, and prototyping features for North’s payment platforms across iOS, Android, and hardware ecosystems. This role bridges product strategy and execution by rapidly validating concepts, creating precise technical specifications, and building proof-of-concept features in sandbox environments without waiting for traditional design or full engineering cycles. By pairing deep technical fundamentals and AI tools with direct merchant discovery, the Senior Product Builder dramatically accelerates product velocity to keep North competitive in the evolving payment processing landscape.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define, design, and build end-to-end proof-of-concept features, interactive prototypes, and technical sandboxes for desktop, iOS, Android, and hardware terminals/kiosks).
  • Create technical specifications, wireframes, and schemas at a high level of technical depth including employee-based permission rulesets, table mapping mockups, and modifier customizations allowing engineering teams to execute without translation delays.
  • Author product evaluation criteria ("evals") prior to feature creation to systematically validate solutions and measure success.
  • Conduct direct user discovery with merchants and sales partners to build high user empathy, rapidly converting feedback into working solutions within hours.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor release cadences and point-of-sale innovations (e.g., drive-thru modes, dark mode UI, item grids, group ordering, barcode scanning, and hardware customizations) to ensure rapid feature delivery.
  • Leverage modern LLM APIs and AI coding agents to accelerate product discovery, code generation, and functional prototyping.

Your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong technical fundamentals with proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and REST/web APIs.
  • Hands-on native or cross-platform iOS and Android mobile development experience.
  • Working familiarity with payment hardware ecosystems, including card readers, POS terminals, and kiosks.
  • High fluency with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted coding agents.
  • Deep user empathy combined with a strong bias for action and tangible proof over slides/presentations.

What We Need From You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of previous experience as a Product Manager, Product Engineer, Product Analyst, or similar technical product roles.
  • 1-2 years of experience with AI tools.
  • Proven experience working with Agile software development teams.
  • Strong proficiency with Jira and modern product management software.
  • Product Owner Certification (CSPO, etc.) preferred.
  • Payments or fintech industry experience is highly preferred.

What we offer:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that enables our teams to live a life well lived, both personally and professionally. Some of our perks include:

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage
  • Flexible Paid Time Off
  • 401(k) + Match
  • Mental Health Support & Well-Being Program
  • Paid Maternity & Paternity Leave
  • Education Assistance
  • Company-funded Lifestyle Spending Account

Salary Range: $104,000-$149,000

Pay within this range varies by work location and on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We look forward to discussing your salary expectations and our full total rewards offerings throughout the interview process.

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for North American Bancard. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
