We have been included on number of award lists that demonstrate the impact we are making.

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Senior Director, Global ERP Delivery & Solution Architecture role will make an impact:

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Lead a global ERP team of approximately 25 internal resources across North America, Europe, and India, responsible for solution delivery, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Execute the global ERP strategy and roadmap in alignment with enterprise objectives and business priorities.
  • Manage end-to-end ERP project and program delivery, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
  • Serve as the lead ERP Solution Architect, defining scalable and integrated solutions that support current and future business needs. Govern ERP architecture standards, design principles, and SAP best practices across all projects and enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into solution blueprints, reference architectures, and target-state ERP capabilities.
  • Oversee ERP operational readiness and production acceptance activities for all deployments and releases. Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies while driving mitigation plans and executive communications.
  • Develop and maintain a 3-to-5-year ERP capability roadmap supporting business transformation initiatives. Manage ERP portfolio budgets, project financials, resource planning, and vendor performance.
  • Drive global ERP transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, modernization, and SAP S/4HANA adoption.
  • Provide technical and architectural guidance for new business capabilities, regulatory requirements, and compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure ERP solutions comply with security, audit, quality, and governance requirements.
  • Establish KPI dashboards and performance metrics to measure delivery effectiveness, service quality, and business value realization.
  • Lead ERP architecture reviews, design governance forums, and solution approval processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and digital enablement.
  • Manage strategic relationships with SAP, system integrators, managed service providers, and consulting partners.
  • Develop and mentor high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain visibility and executive reporting for strategic ERP initiatives, project portfolios, and transformation programs.
  • Collaborate with ERP PMO, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Integration, SAP BTP, Edge Application, Business-Facing IT, and business leaders to ensure alignment and execution of enterprise priorities.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; with a specialization in Management, Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
  • 15+ years of SAP experience required with extensive hands-on experience in ERP implementations including two - three major ERP and Legal Entity consolidations / TSA exits for a globally operated large multinational publicly traded company.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry highly preferred.
  • Must have experience of managing teams of over 10 people in different countries.
  • Must be culturally sensitive and highly experienced with managing challenging situations involving cultural differences within the teams.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Willing to travel internationally as needed for the project executions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to manage dependencies across cross-functional teams, located both domestically and abroad, to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budgets.
  • Experience and comfort in working in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Ability to translate project deliverables to operational tasks.
  • Role offers remote flexibility with preference for candidates on US East Coast.

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for Viatris. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
