Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between client product leadership and engineering teams in the development of innovative healthcare technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience translating business needs, product ideas, and user requirements into clear, actionable, and well-defined development requirements. This role will work closely with the product owners, product leadership, scrum master, and engineering teams to ensure development initiatives are properly scoped, documented, validated, and approved before implementation begins.

You will play a key role in maintaining a well-refined, development-ready backlog while collaborating with the scrum master to support efficient Agile delivery and ensure alignment with business objectives and product priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with client product leadership, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand business objectives, user needs, and functional requirements.

  • Translate high-level business ideas and requirements into well-defined epics, user stories, and clear, testable acceptance criteria.

  • Lead requirements gathering and refinement discussions to clarify business needs, identify dependencies, and resolve ambiguities before development begins.

  • Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, validated, and approved by relevant stakeholders before implementation.

  • Maintain a continuous pipeline of development-ready user stories, ensuring engineering teams have clearly defined work available for upcoming sprints.

  • Partner with product owners to refine and structure the product backlog based on business priorities and delivery objectives.

  • Collaborate with the scrum master to support backlog readiness, sprint preparation, and effective communication between product stakeholders and engineering teams.

  • Work closely with developers and QA engineers to ensure requirements include sufficient functional details, acceptance criteria, and expected behaviors.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, providing requirements clarification and functional guidance.

  • Identify and resolve requirements-related blockers, risks, and dependencies in coordination with the scrum master and engineering teams.

  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with business and technical stakeholders to clarify product functionality and expected outcomes.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between client product stakeholders and internal engineering teams, ensuring effective communication and shared understanding of requirements.

  • Maintain clear and organized requirements documentation to support development, testing, and future enhancements.

  • Support engineering teams during implementation by clarifying requirements, validating proposed solutions, and ensuring alignment with approved specifications.

  • Collaborate with QA teams to review test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered functionality meets business expectations.

  • Evaluate requirement changes and communicate their potential impact on scope, priorities, and delivery timelines to relevant stakeholders.

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a business analyst, including experience supporting software development projects and Agile delivery teams.

  • Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.

  • Proven ability to translate high-level business objectives into detailed epics, user stories, and clear, testable acceptance criteria.

  • Experience working directly with product owners, scrum masters, product leadership, and engineering teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.

  • Experience maintaining a well-defined product backlog and ensuring requirements are ready before development begins.

  • Ability to identify and resolve requirement gaps, dependencies, conflicting expectations, and scope ambiguities.

  • Experience facilitating requirements workshops, stakeholder discussions, and cross-functional collaboration sessions.

  • Familiarity with requirements and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with client stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a client-facing environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working in the healthcare, HealthTech, or digital health industry.

  • Familiarity with healthcare workflows, clinical applications, or patient-facing digital platforms.

  • Understanding of healthcare data interoperability concepts, including FHIR, HL7, or platforms such as Medplum.

  • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.

  • Experience working with distributed engineering teams and international clients.

  • Familiarity with web and mobile application development processes, API integrations, and modern software architectures.

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for KMS Technology. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
