Job description

IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC.

With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.

The Scheduler is a critical cross-functional role within the Technical Program Management (TPM) function, responsible for building, maintaining, and communicating the integrated master schedule across all active AI infrastructure and HPC deployment programs. Reporting directly to the Director of TPM, this role serves as the scheduling authority — ensuring that program milestones, vendor deliveries, construction readiness, and customer commitments are integrated into a single accurate and actionable schedule baseline.

What You Bring

Required
  • 3+ years of experience in a scheduling or program controls role
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) and schedule risk analysis
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream schedules with many dependencies
  • Strong analytical and communication skills — able to translate schedule data into a clear leadership narrative
Preferred
  • Experience in infrastructure, data center, HPC, or hyperscale deployment environments
  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or PMP certification
  • Experience integrating hardware procurement lead times into integrated master schedules
  • Exposure to Jira or similar platforms for task-level tracking alongside master scheduling
What Success Looks Like
  • The master schedule is always current, baselined, and accessible to the full program team
  • Critical path risks are surfaced to leadership before they become delivery issues
  • No milestone is missed without a prior warning and a documented mitigation plan

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Director, Technical Program Management, the Scheduler, Technical Program Management is responsible for:
  • Build and own the integrated master schedule across all active programs using MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent
  • Identify and maintain the critical path across all workstreams — flagging variances and downstream impact to the Director of TPM before they become issues
  • Run weekly schedule review sessions with program leads, updating baselines and forecasts based on actuals
  • Track key milestones across vendor deliveries (Dell, NVIDIA, Lenovo, Supermicro), construction readiness, and customer go-live commitments
  • Produce schedule variance reports and trend analysis for executive reporting
  • Manage schedule change requests — assess impact, update baselines, and communicate revised timelines
  • Coordinate with Procurement to integrate long-lead hardware delivery timelines into the master schedule
  • Support the Design PM and Customer Delivery PM with workstream-level schedule inputs and dependency mapping

Prepare your application

Use the description above to assess your fit for IREN. This checklist is guidance from Resumize, rather than additional requirements from the employer. Imported listings can be shortened or change after collection, so confirm the complete description and current availability before sending an application.

Match requirements to evidence

Identify the responsibilities and skills the employer explicitly names. For each important requirement, choose one example from your work, education, training, or projects. Explain what you did, how you did it, and what changed as a result. Include a measurable outcome when you can support it. If you lack a requirement, describe related experience accurately instead of adding an unfamiliar skill to your resume.

Put the most relevant examples near the top of your resume. Keep job titles, dates, qualifications, and contact details consistent across your application materials. Use the employer’s terminology when it describes your experience accurately; a copied list of keywords does not explain your contribution. A short, specific bullet is easier to review than a paragraph that mixes several unrelated duties.

Check the working arrangement

Confirm the location, schedule, employment type, and any eligibility requirements on the employer’s site. A remote label does not establish worldwide eligibility or flexible hours. If compensation, benefits, equipment, travel, or contract duration are missing from this listing, write down your questions for the recruiter. Do not assume details from another opening at the same company apply to this role.

Review before submitting

Follow the employer’s requested file format and application instructions. Open your exported resume and check that its text is selectable, its sections read in order, and its links work. Proofread names, dates, and contact information. Share confidential work samples only when you have permission, and use an anonymized example when necessary.

Submit through a trusted employer or recruiting destination. If the original listing has disappeared, search the employer’s careers page for the title rather than assuming the vacancy remains open. Save the application date, job reference, and the version of your resume you sent. Those details help you prepare for a later conversation and avoid submitting conflicting information through several job boards.

Review your resume for writing and readability feedback, or browse other openings if this opportunity is unavailable.
